No, I've never been burgled. But I have sympathy for people who have, especially these days when police SOP is to issue a crime number over the phone. If you claim from your insurance for theft the first thing they ask is have you got a frigging crime number. Yes, they do. But whereas the first time i had to go through this shit there was, shall we say, an expectation that the police might actually do something, or at least try to, today the request is made to gain confidence you will be prosecuted if making it up.

They generally give you a crime number over the phone, that number generally suffice for insurance companies, it's up to them to follow up the claim, most of the time insurance assessor take on the role of the police, because the police have become lame ducks. Even if the assessors or insurance investigators do contact the Police, they rarely give any out information due to the Data Protection Act Now that i can say for certain is not the case. All sorts of people may try to use the DPA as an excuse to do fuck all but part of the form you fill in authorises the insurer to take over the case on your behalf and trust me, as someone who has been on the nasty end several times, but also as someone hired to work on insurance company in house databases and software, the police cannot use that as an excuse (and if they do, you should complain to anyone you can think if, starting with the media and consumer tv etc)

My main source of income was stolen vehicles, I would take statements from the loser/owner of the car compile a report for the Insurance Company basically looking for negligence by the loser/owner , I left the engine running with the keys in the ignition whilst I jumped out to buy a paper I was only gone for few seconds and the car was gone ,or I just gone to pay for my petrol and left the keys in the car and it was gone, nullified their claim As part of my investigation I would contact the Crime Desk mainly manned by( Civilians) at the Police Station where the lost or stolen report had been lodged, they refused point blank to tell me anything other than to say no its not been found yet, or if anyone had been arrested, even though I was working on behalf of the Insurance Company, they would however tell the insurance company if they asked for an update or if the owner of the car contacted them. Essex Police would not tell me anything refused point blank, all down to the Data Protection Act, yes if you want information that is held by the Police you can apply through the proper channels a long winded process and still be told nothing, if anyone does breach the DPA and gave out information without authorisation its a sacking offence at the very minimum. Companies House is free on line these days, not that it holds much sensitive information, as for secure intelligence based computer systems you may be hired to fix or install new computers but you don't get to search their databases, years ago I was inside the PNC in Hendon for a meeting , escorted in escorted out most of it was out of bounds , even to some who worked there

And dressing like fucking rainbows mate whilst making tea for criminals at the scene of a crime. The male police will be in dresses next, and want to be called TPCs Transpolice officers, I can see it coming Jonks. So you pair are talking shit to each other as you so often do. It's good for a laugh I suppose

You do understand that calling me 'dead nag' does not affect my views in the slightest, don't you and to be fair it just makes you look like a childish fool to other posters. Please continue though if it makes you feel more mature.😔 Will do dead nag. Are you actually an eight year old? Or are you putting effort into looking like an immature twat?

Everyone should fit a dash cam these days mate. It's still going on in some areas. Yes I have one I use it when we go on long runs Don’t do any journeys short or long without one front and back. Saved a lot of aggro three times.

We must rattle your cage , otherwise you'd ignore us, or put us on iggy. I sometimes find you good comedy value. And no one comes to a politics forum inhabited by lots of ageing Daily Mail readers without being prepared to read a lot of shit. As someone who campaigns politically - I have been out for three hours posting leaflets this morning - I see value in reading the kind of idiotic shit I might expect on the doorstep from some. It helps me to recognise the difference between the idiots who emote and the thinkers who think, the later more open to persuasion by logical argument than the former. And it is good even with the former to be able to recognise the difference between the persuadable and the utterly brainwashed, so i dont waste precious time talking to the latter. In other words, whilst you pair talk endless shit to each other, reading it is not only amusing at times but also informative of the kind of shit I might encounter from others whilst out campaigning. And therefore good practice.

So what you are saying, if we read this garbage you are posting through our doors (leaflets, paper, which is not environmentally friendly), we will be 'enlightened' by your garbage?
Is that what you are telling us?
Instead of me reading your shit on paper, I'd rather read it on here, it saves wasting paper (which is environmentally unfriendly), at least I can delete your shit on here, or just ignore it.

Due to 13 years of Conservative governance, our police force here will no longer attend or turn out for any kind of car crime, and they are not that interested in break-ins or burgalry either.
Due to 13 years of Conservative cuts our local police station is now hardly ever open or manned
Due to 13 years of Tory cuts, you can wait hours on the end of a phone before anyone at the police call centre will answer you.
Our local police station which serves 25,000 people used to have its own small CID section with two detectives, but they have now gone; The local head of police was a Chief Inspector, but now downgraded to an Inspector, the number of officers have gone down, and at weekends during the evenings and nights, what officers there are can barely cope.
Nothing to do with Liberalism, Wokery or Labour ... this is all the fault of 13 years of a Tory government

Unless you live in my locale, your vote doesnt matter to me because I am not campaigning for it. You are in any case obviously a lost cause.

Nah, it was shit for a long time before that. The police even marched against "Jackboot" Jacqui Smith, then Labour Home Secretary, after she drove a coach & horses through their pay and conditions - starting the decades of policing decline that we can see the results of today.
The Tories were no better, but it started with Labour: They all piss in the same pot.
