Considering some of the less than genuine asylum seekers appearing on these shores they decide to shove those on a plane who’d been guarding the British embassy in Kabul who by any stretch of the imagination we have an obligation to allow to settle here. They were in Afghanistan working as civilian contractors. I can see how their status may have become confused in the chaos that followed the fall of Kabul. However, it would seem the mistake has quite rightly been rectified. |

The Gurkhas have a long history of bravery serving the Crown, Johanna Lumley fought for them to be allowed to live in the UK and or get a fitting service pension after they had left the services, this new nonsense needs kicking into the long grass, Gurkhas are an asset to the UK they at tough warriors but true gentlemen with it , fat better than some of the crap that we let in and can't get rid of even when they break our laws

The difference of course is that whilst our Gurkha friends do not face dangers in their homeland, the Afghans do.
