Low and behold, the Cultural Marxists at Oxford University are dropping the celebration of Englishness and St. George, our slaying dragon saint. Instead, they are having a formal dinner (halal, no alcohol of course) for the marking of the end of Ramadan. “England is perhaps the only great country whose intellectuals are ashamed of their own nationality.” - George Orwell www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/04/04/magdalen-college-oxford-st-georges-day-eid-dinner/

There'll probably be a few more posts harrumphing about the lack of interest in St George, but few people (if any) actually seem to do anything about celebrating St George's Day round here.
Mind you, St David went by unnoticed this year, and there's usually a few strains of 'Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau' to be heard.
In Jan I noticed plenty of Scottish flags, and St Patrick's Day was lively. There may be a flag or two decorating the Rochester Castle on the 23rd (if it's open again by then), but St Patrick's Day always wins hands down...

This illustrates the toxicity of brain-washing that has permeated the Universities of the WEST … started even before the anarchist terrorists of BLM took a grip of gullible Americans …. They are exporting that drip drip fascism into what used to be intellectual territory immune to the rewriting of history and the promotion of trendy WOKE fads.
… The gullible youngster of these Dreaming Spires need to be led towards better things than Muslim fundamentalist fascism … St. George is far more benign and honourable … despite the fact football hooligans and the MSM have sullied the reputation of the flag of St. George.
Although I don’t want to resort to hooliganism to make a point this is wrong … by draping myself in the flag of St. George … and bricking in all the windows of every once-esteemed College of Oxford … I think this is the point when TRUE ENGLISHMEN need to stand up and defend our Saint … the Dons need to drag this Dinah Rose wretch into the street … strip her and humiliate her Heresy in true muslim style … beat and flog her … and above all … kick out of Academia anyone like her!
… then things can return to NORMAL in the UK … and in our Universities … FREE OF ALL THIS WOKE NONSENSE … and immigrant-induced anarchy sponsored by the Soros Posse.

The dragon was a fire-breathing female. George slew her with his sword and she turned into a sexy princess.

Many local Pubs where I live celebrate St Georges day, the English are more reserved and do things more quietly than say the Irish , we don't go OTT

Thanks. Little tip: I don't pay for the Telegraph. When you click on an article to read on the Telegraph tap "esc" repeatedly, this unblocks the content. If it doesn't work, go back and do it again. Wait for the page (not the article itself) of the article to load up and then tap "esc".

If only this Dinah Rose wretch got an education before she was appointed to this position of what should be elevated responsibility … clearly from the look of her, you can see she is a WOKE Germaine Greer-clone … a Guardianista vegetarian that looks like she’s been pulled thru a hedge backwards on the way back from her hairdressers … How did she slip through the Academic Filter and land this job?? … if anything suggests ‘shoe-in’ … it’s this appointment! Maybe the Dons should grow some balls, hand this poor luvvie a duster … and point her towards the Library to check out books on the abuse of women throughout history in Islam … then she wouldn’t be so ready to promote Ramadan at Oxford.… My guess is this old witch-hunter/St. George-hating religious zealot surreptitiously crept in there and had them all burned!🤔 Meanwhile women in Iran are doing their own burning … check out the video in this CNN Report: edition.cnn.com/2022/09/21/middleeast/iran-mahsa-amini-death-widespread-protests-intl-hnk/index.htmlSo much for the myth Oxford is run by pragmatic atheist … looks like Religious Fascism has really taken a hold there … likely through this BBC/Guardianista influx … bringing in anarchic BLM promoting Americans and Bible bashing coloured immigrants with links to promoting Islamic terrorism sponsored by the Soros Posse and the Bloomberg Media They’ll likely be burning effigies of Charles Darwin next week … who would have thunk the American sickness would so easily infect Oxford of all places? Unbelievable. … 🤡🤡 Clown World continues … Zionists + Media WOKE destroy American Democracy using BLM leverage … then bully there way onto the top table at Oxford. 😱🤪 We need a clean bloom here pronto … sweep these people out of Office ASAP …. before they infect any more gullible WOKE ignoramuses who think rewriting history and sacking Dr David Starkey was a ‘good idea’. 🙄 The Dinah Rose OUT OUT OUT …. NOW Campaign starts right here … All students need to galvanise across the Country … and kick out the promotion of muslim fascism from the Dreaming Spires - ALLColleges - not just Oxford … every University in the Country. … and more importantly remove it from our Media … especially the BBC, ITV, CH4+5.
Ofcom regulators should have done that YEARS AGO … just after 9/11.Long overdue this promotion of Islam was stopped … abuse of women, LGTBQ persecution and murder is rife in these countries run and bullied by this Religion … even freedom to worship other religions is denied.
