They may make representations to parliament by way of lobbying but an active campaign being funded is a different kettle of fish. |

Crooks have rebranded themselves as good causes, charities anything from children to donkeys, to cats, dogs, deaf, Ukraine, floods, earthquakes, you name it.
Just take a look at the homes of these so called charity CEOs, most of them are in the £££millions, the only charity benefiting is their own bank accounts.

It should be like charities in the USA where 501(c)(3) organizations are not allowed to take part in political campaign activity.

So you are saying that charities should only be funded if they agree with the government? 🤔 When i set my daughter’s primary school PTA up as a charity to take advantage of the then exceptionally clunky gift aid measures, tve charity commission made it clear that involvement in politics and criticism of government were actions that would see a charity stripped of its charitable status. So what makes you think this requirement to not become engaged in political matters by criticising government should be relaxed ?? |
