Voting reminders came through the door today, and voters now need pictured id a good thing. I wonder how that will effect outcomes, im sure it will have a dramatic effect. Its common knowledge in Cambridge that students vote here, then again wherever they come from. There must be a forest of ways to cheat, the left are good at criminality.
To my shame i voted red once when 18, i can be forgiven though growing up in marxist cambridge, i grew up pretty quick. Now, amazingly, i have no intention of voting blue, the Tories need punishing, and punishing bad, for their own good.
I will probably vote reform maybe not vote at all. It will be a protest vote though, allowing god knows what to damage this country even more. Are there any out there like me who dont want to vote Tory but may do? Maybe even voting Labour would be a good thing paradoxically. Sometimes things have to go bad, very bad, for some to realise reform or the Tories are better.
The disaster for Labour now is that the lib dems are now pinching their ground. Confused?, i am, if i had to vote this second, nub in hand in a booth, it would be reform. But they wont win. Im not even sure reform will stand here. If they dont, its tory, even a bad fcked up tory party is better than labour.

Voter ID is definitely a step in the right direction. Impersonation is a very serious offence, but it is rarely prosecuted, even when reported to the Police.

Agreed, it's actually a relatively rare occurrence but the impact on voter confidence in elections of even a few cases is far far more and not good. For those that complain it discriminates against the poor, it doesn't as there is a free photo ID available. It discriminates against the dishonest, no bad thing. www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate

Photo ID is common sense it should have happened years ago. I would have thought it will have quite a dramatic effect in some communities. Muslims for instance have always been very critical of voter ID, hands up anyone who's surprised.

Never had a political home yet since 2000 have voted UKIP until we got Brexit, then after this Tory. Not sure who this time, can't vote for Labour, I'm not above paying more taxes it is more the class warriors of the Left and now their idealogue class straight out of a skewed education. Look science can be a good thing yet in isolation can be dangerous and think we might still be in lockdowns if Labour were in power aiming for zero cov-id. Labour do have a policy for expanding jobs yet talk vaguely about a green revolution yet these energies are not big on jobs unless you create a new industry of personal carbon checks primed to invade every home with a clip board and pen taking notes to assess your personal carbon imprint and associated tax.

Much like me, I was a member of UKIP for several years and since Brexit have voted Tory. Next time we will vote Tory or Reform not sure yet, but we certainly wont vote Labour.
