Tell me what the SNP have achieved with their "power" in the following areas, Independence. Health, Education. Transport. Women's rights and safety. Industry. NHS and welfare. Drug and alcohol dependency. Crime prevention. I believe that they have used their "power" to subvert justice, commit financial crimes and put Scottish women in jeopardy, have lowered the standing and admiration in which the Scots used to be held and have intentionally caused a rift with their biggest trading partner. However I'm sure that you see things differently, one thing that I'm sure we can agree on is that you are no nearer independence than you were when you started remembering things. Indepence. Brought the vote up to around 50% Health. The Scottish NHS. Healthcare spending in Scotland is £2,368 per person, while in England it is £2,182. Scotland has 76 GPs per 100,000 people, compared to England with 60 per 100,000 . The number of patients spending over 12 hours in A&E was 0.2 per cent in Scotland, 2 per cent in England. Scottish nurses are the highest paid in the UK. NHS waiting times. 945,072 people waited more than 12 hours in England A&E departments in 2021-22. That’s 48 times larger than the figure for Scotland 19,667. Scottish nurses average pay is £36,631 in England £33,384. Healthcare spending in Scotland is £2,368 per person, while in England it is £2,182. Scotland has 96 GPs per 100,000, to bankrupt England's 76. Scotland has 840 qualified nurses per 100,000 to bankrupt England's 586. Scotland has 68 student nurses and midwives per 100,000. Double that of England's at 36 on both. Scotland student nurses , midwives and paramedics receive a bursary of £10,000 a year. And Scottish students do not pay any tuition fees. Womans rights and safety. It is against Scottish law to murder, beat up or rape a female. It seems the Met police think different. Transport. A retained matter. In England. The number of potholes filled in by councils in England and Wales has increased during the past year to almost 1.7 million, a survey suggests. The Asphalt Industry Alliance said this figure - up 200,000 from 1.5 million in 2019-20 - equated to one being fixed every 19 seconds. It now works out that £61,700 is needed to be spent for every mile of local road in England and Wales and it would take councils nine years to bring their crumbling networks up to scratch. Not even close to Scotland. Industry. The latest figures I have. Not including oil and gas, Scotland sold £86.4 billion in goods and services to England. England sold £93.4 billions in goods and services to Scotland. Scotland in terms of countries is England's largest trading partner with exports to Scotland greater than to Brazil, South Africa, Russia,. India, China and Japan put together. Scotland is the only UK nation to have exported more goods internationally than it has imported every year since records began. In terms of exports per head, Scotland outperforms the UK: Scotland exports £17,455 per head per year, while England exports £8,626 per head per year. Scotland is an exporting powerhouse, whose success has had nothing to do with being part of the UK, but whose future has been jeopardised due to the UK taking Scotland out of the European Union.. . In contrast, England's international trade deficit in goods is massive. NHS see above. Welfare .There were 3.9 million children living in poverty in England in 2020-21. That's 27 per cent of children, or eight in a classroom of 30. In Scotland. Funded early learning and childcare is free to parents, but funded by the Scottish Government. You can get up to 1,140 hours of funded early learning and childcare a year (around 30 hours a week in term time) if your child is 3 or 4 years old. Some 2 year olds are also eligible. On top of the National UK payment. Scottish Child Payment is awarded if successful towards the costs of supporting family in poverty. . It's a weekly payment of £25 that you can get for every child who's under 16 years of age. The payment every 4 weeks. It does not cost the English tax payer one penny Education. You were given the figures a few hours ago. and still rfanting the same shite Drugs. It is a retained matter. Drug deaths per 10000 in Scotland is higher because it includes death by alcohol. English figures do not. . That is separate from a worse drug problem. That goes down to England. It has a bigger drug problem in primary schools and prisons on their own than the entire drug problem in Scotland. Apart from that it is a retained matter. Drug deaths in Scotland 2021, including alcohol 1,330. Drug deaths in England for the same period 4561 and by alcohol 8,974. In total 13,535. Not even close. www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/jul/19/scotland-drugs-problem-westminster-policySince this forum came on line you have had those figures at least 10 times. And on the old forum at least a hundred times. Why do you insist on asking the same shite post after post. You had the same answers less than a few hours ago and you still persist on ranting utter garbage. Now if it has changed in the last few hours. i am all ears. Now the question you should ask. What is England going to do about these figures. Figures such as the NHS. Not only do I pay for the Scottish NHS which does not cost you a penny. I have to pay for yours as well. Now that gets up my craw. Because you cannot live within your means.
