This Yousaf chap looks as if he will be even more extreme than Sturgeon, who lost 30,000 SNP members. Who knows, he will hopefully bring the SNP down. Of course that wont help the Tories, the northern reaches of the kingdom is the domain of lefties. As far as can be made out total Scottish Tory membership is just over 6000. Very entertaining for a party that held some 50% of the Scottish vote in my lifetime. Scottish Labour even worse. No wonder the wanker D.Ross refuses to divulge figures. I most certainly do understand it. Unlike you. The EU is an economic Darwinist market survival of the fittest. Survival of the cheapest. Businesses move from expensive countries to cheap ones. Even HP Sauce isn't made here any more. Ford ditched the UK for car production in 2000, for van production in 2012 and there's been so many similar cases. You're blinded by a flag and ideology. The EU doesn't work. It needs to be a level playing field based on democracy, with a common standard of living from Dublin to Dubrovnik. With wages and taxes in parity across the union, if they wish to continue with this political project. If not, if all they want is a market, disband the EU Parliament and the Commission and just have national governments working together with free trade. Fraction of the cost to taxpayers. What the EU is, is faulty. It needs massive reform and in 2016 did not get it. Understand ? You certainly dont understand the term anarcho captialism. You may not like the EU , dont want your country to be a member , and disagree with how it is being run politically and economically. Thats all fine. The EU is built on it. The Single Market is all about it and has rules against state aid, to maximise competition across it.
They haven't made any effort to create balance across the EU. Companies move towards low tax low wage countries for a reason.
Outside the EU we can do more about the matter and use tools including state aid and tariffs to take away any advantage from leaving and exporting into our country.
Inside the EU everything was going to shit and David Cameron's attempts to reform it were rebuffed.
He was told no treaty change for a decade.
Now we've left we've been a bigger influence than we ever were as members as they're now looking at root and branch reform of the rotten organisation.
The treaty change process has been activated and interesting things are happening.
They may actually turn it into something which works.

So the reality is that you should be championing anarcho captialism , and decrying the eu as the opposite.

That is evidence of the most unappetising racism, your inference that because he was born in Glasgow rather than the Punjab is the cause of him being a racist is of course a matter for debate, but you may well be right.
