The development could trigger the biggest backbench rebellion of Rishi Sunak’s premiership so far when the Illegal Migration Bill returns to the Commons today.
Government legal advisers are understood to oppose plans that would allow the Home Office to ignore injunctions by the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. It is believed Attorney General Victoria Prentis has raised concerns about the measures on the grounds they would breach international law.

Yep, Make or break for the Tories now, they must know the mood of the people, a vote against it, is a vote against the people, and it will cost them the next election, and yes if Labour get in we may as well pack our bags have a word with the people traffickers and charter a dinghy to France.

The Daily Express and the Daily Mail were the first two News Papers I stopped buying on any sort of a regular basis back in the 1980s. I stopped buying them because I saw just how politically insidiously deceitful and misleading they were. I see no reason to change my opinion in the years since. It's not just what they post, it the way that they do it. |

The Daily Express and the Daily Mail were the first two News Papers I stopped buying on any sort of a regular basis back in the 1980s. I stopped buying them because I saw just how politically insidiously deceitful and misleading they were. I see no reason to change my opinion in the years since. It's not just what they post, it the way that they do it. Don't talk wet, so what you are trying to tell us that both the Mail and Express have both printed a story that never really happened, it was even in the Independent, Mirror and Sun, not reading or buying the Mail or Express doesn't make things go away, and we'll pretend it's just the Mail and Express making it up.
Stop being so shallow and pedantic, you might bury your head in the sand reading your selective junk, but most of us want to know what's going on in the 'real world'.

I think you misunderstood my point. You are giving an opinion, which I acknowledge will be shared by others, but you then tried to project it as "the people's opinion". You may well be representative of Daily Mail or Daily Express readers, but to project that onto everyone else is disingenuous.
Basically you seem to think that everyone else thinks the same as you, I'm merely pointing out that they don't.
