Listen to the experts - follow the science... "Experts initially believed that severely overweight people were becoming more ill when they caught coronavirus because their bodies were already highly inflamed, triggering a dangerous immune overload.
But now Cambridge University has found that obese people actually mount a poorer inflammatory response than healthy weight individuals, meaning they struggle to fight off the virus.
Patients suffering from severe Covid are often given anti-inflammatory drugs to help dial down the immune system, but the new study suggests the opposite might be needed for obese people."

Beware of "Experts." Don't believe a word they say. They've caused more fucking disasters than the two world wars. For every expert there is an equal and opposing expert who claims the opposite. If you have two choices, consult two opposing experts and then take a third course of action.

Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory drug. Some people, especially if they are overweight or obese, take it on a daily basis to cope with their aches and pains.

If you think non-experts are experts then you would get a distorted view of how good experts are for you. Your problem is that of correct identification of experts. How can you tell the difference? Well I have sad news for you. In order to make a correct identification you need to be an expert yourself and have spent years studying the subject. Or I suppose you could ask a friend or phone and expert - lol.

Well I have sad news for you. In order to make a correct identification you need to be an expert yourself and have spent years studying the subject. Or I suppose you could ask a friend or phone and expert - lol. In medicine there's 21st century experts and 20th century experts. Anemia is a very common condition. The Haemoglobin level is dependent on Hepcidin levels ... Hepcidin was discovered in 1999 ... then they discovered Erythroferrone in 2014, Erythroferrone controls the Hepcidin level. I've had anemia for 4 years and the level of these hormones has never been checked. Recently the treatment they were initially giving me (high doses of intravenous iron) has been found to be causing Hepatic iron overload ... leading to damage to other organs (including the heart). Soon after starting dialysis I read about the risk and have been refusing any dosage above what the 21st century experts say should be the maximum (25% of what I was initially being given). My Haemoglobin level has stabilised at 100 g/l ... which is what the 21st century Kidney disease experts recommend for kidney patients with anemia. My Consultant's target for her patients is 120 g/l. A 21st century expert Nephrologist was quoted as saying: "Nephrologists need to get their noses out of their 30 year old textbooks and get up to date". An Oxford Nephrologist told his patient, on learning that he was moving into Gloucestershire: "I'm keeping you on my list. There's no good Nephrologists where you're going."
