Boris Johnson will give evidence this week (March 22) on whether he misled parliament about the Covid rule-breaking parties, dubbed the ‘Partygate’ scandal. The former prime minister will face a televised evidence session in front of the Commons Privileges Committee, made up of seven MPs, between 2pm and 7pm on Wednesday. After the session, the committee will publish its final verdict on whether the former PM misled parliament. However, its initial update earlier this month stated Mr Johnson may have misled parliament multiple times, something the former PM denies. www.londonworld.com/read-this/boris-johnson-to-give-evidence-on-partygate-this-week-4070818Cant help thinking, who cares? There is a small cohort of people which may or may not include Sue Gray, who behind the scenes are determined to keep this going for no other reason than to damage Boris. It's a waste of time & money.

It certainly is now since he is no longer PM.
And even if they do find that Boris misled parliament, in the wake of the Sue Gray revelations, what weight would an open minded person attach to their evidence? Not much, I'd suggest.

Indeed, there's something murky about this. Sue Gray stitched Boris up before revealing she's moving to Labour. Plus, Harriet Harmon is the chairman of the Commons privileges committee, it's hardly a secret she dislikes Boris and wants his head on a platter before she steps down as an MP next year. It's also a matter of record that she has already publicly stated that Boris is guilty. This is, as Boris has already said, the biggest stitch up since the Bayeux Tapestry.

The Committee have also changed the rules of Parliament to make sure that they can find Johnson guilty - if you were trying to design a Kangaroo Court you would come up with this.

Boris's lawyers will argue that the privileges committee has overturned decades of tradition by changing the definition of misleading Parliament and will accuse the chairman Harriet Harman, of having prejudiced the outcome of the inquiry. Which she has. Since 1963, MPs have been investigated over whether they 'deliberately' misled Parliament. Yet last year, the committee decided they did not need to prove intent, just that he had 'recklessly' misled the House, something that is easier to prove. Boris will argue that the definition was changed because the committee failed to find any compelling evidence.

Anyone who is interested in this should tune into GB News now. Richard Starkey is comming out with all sorts of things that I knew nothing about. For instance, the biggest party in Downing Street that Boris is being blamed for was organised by the head of the civil service, Sue Grays's successor, and Boris wasn't even there.

Harriet Harmon is determined to destroy any hope of Boris ever returning to politics. It's hardly a secret that she loathes him with a passion, indeed even before the committee proceedings have taken place and any evidence has been heard, she has stated he is guilty. A fact that Boris's lawyers will I'm sure be aware of.

You only have to mention PIE and the leftties hold a vigil of silence.
Key roles: Harriet Harman and husband Jack Dromey. T hey were leading officials in the NCCL, which was linked to predatory pedophile group PIE

Indeed Jonksy, but for some reason no one seems to be bothered. The left certainly aren't going to talk about it, and the right seem to think it's below them. Lefties are a real danger, they always have been. Just look at that nice Mr Hitler.

A lot of people died due to Johnson and his cronies incompetence and to suggest 'people don't care anymore' is just plain wrong.
