This is one of the concerns regarding the current North Korean style election for a new leader. If Mr Murrell awards 100,000 votes to Yousaf people might question how that was attained, hence the silence from Mr Murrell on this.
Kate Forbes has just announced that in the unlikely event that the rigged election results in her elevation to FM she will then have a complete rake out of the current ministers and appoint people that know what they are doing. I wonder where on earth she intends to find them.
For several years on this forum and the last forum I have drawn everyone's attention to the corruption and deceit within the SNP leadership, also the complete incompetence and lack of interest in governing effectively, I have always recieved huge odium from several people about this, but it is now worth noting that in the face of reality they have fallen silent.
Separation is dead, the SNP have proved that they are a shower of conmen/women/persons and no one of any intelligence takes them seriously, hence the fall in numbers.
Of the 5.454 million people resident in Scotland only 72,000 are members of the SNP, however this hasn't prevented the SNP from creating complete devastation in the services in Scotland. Devolution is a disaster and Ricky should step and sort it all out.

How has Alba gone at this time?

It's high time Scotland was back under direct rule. Devolution was a complete and total mistake.

16000 less than what alec salmond left her when he resigned.
The general consensus is many people have left becasue of identity politics and the GRR bill.

How has Alba gone at this time? how do you mean "gone" Latest polls from the north east show a rise in theirsupport , and the possible election of alec salmond as an msp.
If yousaf wins the snp leadership as per murrells dodgy election process , then in my opinion there could well be a mass defection over to Alba .
Still all up in the air at the minute. What is certain is scottish indy isnt going anywhere , merely the vehicle to prive that indy might change.......

Sure, I could have worded that better. Thanks for the general update on Alba.

Sure, I could have worded that better. Thanks for the general update on Alba. No worries. Despite the unionist glee at the current and undoubted implosion of the snp , the fact remains scotland is politically divided on the union similar to but not quite the same as northern ireland.
Half the scottish electorate wont vote british parties , half wont vote independence parties. That means despite the implosion of the snp , the independence question isnt going away.
That may mean if the snp "elect" yousaf , the snp vote move to other indy parties , or stay at home and let unionist parties in at the next election. Not sure.
One thing that is sure is there is no return to the bad old days of labour domination of scotland , with scotland safe in the union. Thats before you even mention brexit , or the fact the snp might elect someone who energises the indy movement , or other potential pitfalls awaiting the declining uk further down the line.

If the SNATs ever achieved their goals the following would happen:
It would first have to join the customs union and the common external tariff. There would be customs checks between Scotland and England and Scotland would have to pay for the border staff.
It would have to allow not only the free movement of people, but the free movement of businesses. Manufacturers and service providers would leave, because they'd be able to manufacture abroad more cheaply (and import into Scotland) than they could manufacture locally in Scotland. Bankers would be able to offer Scottish customers banking facilities, without having a physical operation in Scotland.
Economic Darwinism would be mandatory.
All the socialist desires of the SNATs would go up in smoke on the bonfire of EU capitalism.
Scotland would have reduced access to it's largest market.
All the things the little SNATs blame Brexiteers for, you'd be doing yourselves and more.
AND you'd have to privatise more Scottish services to make them compatible with the EU market and EU anti monopoly legislation.
Your position is quite weird. It can however be explained. Quite simply the SNATs are a racist movement.

Come off it Loony, I have always said that Sturgeon was useless, dishonest and bigoted, I further predict that once she steps down collars will be felt and a load more will surface.
You have never corrected anything, just argued that I was wrong, now it is obvious that I wasn't wrong. I will be happy to comment on the arrests, trials, sentences, appeals and denials that are yet to come.

One thing for sure, Salmond rightly doesn't trust the EU one iota personally. When anyone with an iota of sense can see they used the SNP to further their own agenda while dangling the carrot of independence. The SNP rightly deserve to go in the bin of history for their abuse of power.

He did a very good job of pretending it was the best thing since sliced bread then ….One thing to note from Wales’ example is membership has little relationship to political power. The marxist cottage burners are doing quite well in terms of remodelling the principality to meet their idea of how things should be run. Transport will be back in the 1800’s in six months.

I hope a few just desserts are about to be served on certain individuals.
