Endless strikes, Tory. Small boats crisis, Tory. Lineker controversy, Tory leader of the BBC. How can you blame anyone but the Tories they have been in power 13 years and done nothing but ripped us off. How can you blame the Tories for the BBC employing a arrogant self-righteous wanker like jug ears. What the usual lefty idiots forget is the FACT that jug ears was employed by the woke beeb long before a Tory supporter took the helm...But that's the hypocritical left for you..

People can't get it through to their thick skulls that if jug ears worked on the tills at Tesco and tweeted what he tweeted no one would give it a second thought, you can't get it through to people that his status at the BBC gives him a platform to promote his preferred political party, which is a unfair advantage.
He's clearly using and abusing his association with the BBC to get his message across.

In Plymouth the balance is held mostly by Independents, every one of them former Tories who of course support the Tories. So of course Plymouth is a Tory run council. You need to get your facts sorted before you post your usual shite. If you think Plymouth is Labour run you don't have a clue. It has been in the past and no doubt will be in the future but it is not right now. There were as many labour members as there were conservative who went independent. And in may 2022 the green party won a seat for the first time ever, and we all know what side of the fence they sit...There are 8 independents in Plymouth...Was it the tories fault that the corruption in labour reduced labour ranks?
History Result of the council election when these seats were last contested in 2019 Result of the most recent council election in 2022
Plymouth City Council held local elections, along with councils across England as part of the 2022 local elections. The council elects its councillors in thirds, with a third of seats being up for election every year for three years, with no election each fourth year to correspond with councillors' four-year terms.[1][2] Councillors defending their seats in this election were previously elected in 2018. In that election, eleven Labour candidates and eight Conservative candidates were elected.
Elections in Plymouth are usually competitive between the Labour Party and the Conservative Party.[3] The council was controlled by the Labour Party from the 2018 council election until the 2021 council election, when the council entered no overall control, with no party holding a majority of seats. One Labour councillor elected in 2018—Kevin Neil—was suspended from his party in the same year.[4] Another councillor, Chaz Singh, left the Labour Party in 2019.[5] Several Conservative councillors left their group to sit as independents, including the former council leader Ian Bowyer, after two of them were suspended by the group leader Nick Kelly for publishing a press release supporting a reduction in the speed limit on the A38 road through the city.[6] Kelly was later suspended from his party after making comments about a local murder that were characterised as victim-blaming.[7][8] He was later reinstated.[9] Around the same time, other Conservative councillors left the group or were suspended.[10][11] After Kelly was unable to pass a budget in February 2022, Labour called a vote of no confidence in him.[12] Kelly lost, and the council selected a new leader, the Conservative councillor Richard Bingley, who had previously been a member of the Labour Party and the UK Independence Party.[13][14] Terri Beer resigned from the Conservative group to sit as an independent councillor in response to Bingley's election.[15]
Plymouth City Council is a Tory run local authority at the moment. Check it out. TORY RUN!!! The 23 Tory councillors are supported by 6 independents, most of them members or former members of the Tory party. This gives them a majority of 1 over Labour's 25 and the Greens 3. It is the Tories making the decisions down here however much you try to pretend otherwise. Labour is in opposition. The Tory majority however is so slender and polling for them so dire at the moment, that they will probably lose control of the Council in May. But until then it is the Tories in charge in Plymouth, wasting money on cutting down trees in defiance of public opinion. Whether or not Labour will continue with this crap after May remains to be seen. I have no confidence in either.

Your attitude to the left is one of rabid reds under the bed paranoia and malice. Did you tell your kids when they were growing up to behave themselves or Tony Benn will get them? Did you scare them with terrifying stories about left wing extremists running riot? Did you tell them that Michael Foot was the Bogeyman? Wouldnt surprise me, lol

Endless strikes, the small boats crisis and now the Lineker fiasco are proof that anti-Tory groupthink has taken control in Britain BBC News Channel’s bulletin yesterday was devoted to Gary Lineker coverage Alastair Campbell blamed everyone from Tories to the Daily Mail for UK's crises The first half hour of the BBC News Channel’s 10am bulletin yesterday was devoted to an orgy of incestuous wall-to-wall navel gazing over director-general Tim Davie’s craven capitulation to the sainted Gary Lineker. For further considered and balanced analysis, the airwaves were then given over to the corporation’s favourite independent commentator Alastair Campbell, who looked as if he had just crawled out of bed. Only in the warped world of BBC ‘impartiality’ would a discredited former Labour propagandist be deemed a fit and proper person to take a dispassionate view of a politically charged meltdown at a publicly funded institution, which began when Match Of The Day host Lineker compared the Conservatives’ policy on illegal migration to Nazi Germany. Over the next 15 minutes, virtually uninterrupted, Campbell went into his celebrated ‘Nutter on the Bus’ routine, blaming everyone from the Tories to the Daily Mail for the crisis which ended with a grovelling apology from the man who is supposed to run the BBC to a rogue presenter who knowingly and deliberately brought the game into disrepute. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11855843/Strikes-small-boats-Lineker-fiasco-Proof-anti-Tory-groupthink-taken-control-Britain.htmlEndless strikes, Tory. It is laughable isn't it. The Tories have been running the country into the ground for 13 years now, yet somehow all our problems are Labour's fault, lol.

What jonksy and other right wing populists and xenophobes really mean, is that the BBC should not be an organisation which employs people on merit, and instead people should be employed based upon their political views, with only HIS type of people given jobs.
Garry Linekar has a long track record of been a first class soccer commentator and presenter, and has a vast knowledge of the game. His skills have been used by many different broadcasters over the years.
Within the BBC there are a huge and diverse range of people, including people with political views of every type, people who lean Left, people who lean Right.
If anyone is not happy because someone in the employ of the BBC has a particular view on something - then obviously it is - they - who have the problem.

I don't think it should be anything, and that the BBC tax should be scrapped. It's corrupt on every level as seen by those who seem to intentionally avoid the point.

And of course in your lefty supporting little rant you failed to aknowledge that on 21 Nov 2022 — The proposal for cutting of trees along Armada Way is to replace a number of existing trees with specimens which are more appropriate for an urban, city centre....But hey lets not let facts get in the way...

Let us firstly describe the BBC using some facts
BBC TV is the most watched and most popular TV outlet in this country, and its weekly ouput is watched by more people than watch programming on Sky, ITV, Channel4 or any other commercial broadcaster.
The reason it is the most popular provider of TV is because the output is better quality than other broadcasters, but also because people can escape those bloody awful adverts.
The reason why our BBC provides better, more popular programming is down to the fact that it recieves most of the income from TV licensing, however another reason is because since commercial TV was deregulated, there has been an explosion of TV channels, all chasing the same pot of advertising revenue ... more and more TV channels chasing the same amount of money = lower quality.
Privatise the BBC or make it a subscription service will bring the BBC down to the level of the other multitude of cheap commercial channels spewing out garbage, and where the commercial breaks are almost as long as the actual programme segments.
Privatising or removing licence fee income from our BBC will also cause immense damage to British culture
Our BBC is now the only UK broadcaster which makes childrens programmes, all other channels buy in childrens output, and its almost all foreign. Most UK broadcasters cannot aford to make childrens programmes any more.
Our BBC prduces quality regional news, and the only other network which does this is ITV, but they are now struggling to continue to provide this service.
Our BBC carries less foreign programming and more British output than any other broadcaster
Our BBC shows less repeats than any other UK channel or broadcaster
If you want to disagree with a particular presenter, or a specific BBC programme, thats fine; If theres a BBC channel you dont watch, or a radio station you dont listen to, thats fine.
But dont indulge in a Race To The Bottom, and dont deny the MAJORITY from their pleasure, dont damage British culture for the sake of a less than the price of a pint of beer a week.

I wouldn't call Labour a "cancer", but they are fucking shit. They are still out of office, so how can you know? The overrated Tories having dominated Parliament since 1951 must be a load of shit otherwise the UK would not have been in the shit it has been in, for almost all of the last 70 odd years.
