We have another bizarre case of you throwing slime at Starmer and Labour. There appears to be a disagreement between between Lineker and HMRC, until that disagreement is resolved you have no cause to insinuate the worse, other than your need to insult Starmer and the Labour party. Starmer refusing to intervene in the strikes that are taking place is IMO politically the right thing for him to do. It doesn't mean he is against the strikers actions, only that he has left the dispute for those involved to decide. Haha now you support a tax dodger... HRMC have said he is employed so he owes £5 million in taxes. The arrogant prick wants to still continuing using a Personal Service Company (to avoid tax) and ignore IR35, when the other 3 million people that it affected have complied with IR35. So Starmer speaks out in support of somebody who pays ZERO national insurance and only pays tax on share dividends, and gets out of £5 million in taxes!! Yet he won't support working people striking for inflation matching pay rises. He is the leader of the LABOUR party, the spearhead of the LABOUR MOVEMENT. If he doesn't want to support working people he should fuck off and join the Tories or the Libdems. If HRMC haven't demanded that Lineker pay up then you are posting like an arrogant prick. The moment Lineker is found guilty by HRMC of avoidance is the time for you to throw your slime. And at that time I will join you. So don't insult me with your childish comments. If Starmer has said that he supports Lineker's tax position I would like to see your evidence. If his support is about something else to do with Lineker and you are dishonestly insinuating that it also supports Lineker's tax position, then that is a lie. Shame on you if that is the case. The rest of your paragraph is just the made up slime you feel the need to throw. You can claim he doesn't support working people when he attacks them, not because you wish to build up hate against him. People like yourself who are continuously throwing slime at him which has the effect of making the overrated Tories more acceptable, and is thus working against working people, should be the ones to fuck off.

As ever with a half story like "Lineker is a tax dodger", the devil's in the detail. No-one disputes that HMRC are owed money. The dispute is over who is liable for the sum. Like many presenters, Mr L is "self employed" at the suggestion of the BBC. This leaves open the question of who is liable for tax bills arising from such arrangements. Explained here.. inews.co.uk/inews-lifestyle/money/gary-lineker-tax-clash-bbc-paying-legal-fees-2201702

No, that won't wash Velvet Wood Limited deliberately submitted a 27 day contract with a full substitution clause to the St Agnes IR35 compliance unit in March 1999 and received notification in June 1999 that we were not exempt despite Dawn Primarolo’s second in command stating categorically the measure would not apply to contracts 28!days or less. We rather enjoyed making mincemeat of the twats. Then we proved gays and lesbians were exempt. Then we had the Navy and the Special Boat Squadron explain to the inland revenue at gunpoint why they had the right to vet substitutes. Blair was so mad he arranged it so SME’s no longer had the right to List X Status in their own name. Which killed the company order book. Had he been around to play those games in grandad’s day you’d all be speaking german and while life would be wonderful for six foot three blonde blue eyed aryans like me, and for gas fitters, well, other occupations and diversities nay not have been so lucky.

He is still running a "personal service company", even though IR35 now effectively stops this. Nothing to do with being self-employed. He employs himself via a limited company to avoid national insurance and income tax. He couldn't claim to be self-employed either, as he takes instruction from somebody, does not use his own tools, and cannot send a staff member of his choosing to do the work.

Which bit are you finding hard to understand? He owes £5 million in unpaid taxes and has hired expensive lawyers to appeal the HMRC's decision. Bizarrely his defense is that the BBC should be paying it lol. The HMRC have looked into his tax affairs and have said he is operating a "personal service company", which is wrong because the evidence shows that he should be employed by the BBC. How come every agency truck driver in the country with a £500 a year accountant stopped paying themselves via a limited company, yet multi-millionaire Lineker still thinks he is entitled to do it? lol. YES.. it is hypocritical of Starmer to support somebody avoiding national insurance and income tax after he has made a song and dance about stopping non-dom status.
