You are seriously saying that 'deportation' without processing was not specifically mentioned that it is allowed? Our government is refusing to uphold it's obligation to process asylum seekers and we all know why. Now they are looking at moving them out of hotels and putting them in disused barracks, more red meat. I am not saying that nor have I ever said that. The whole point is we are in a situation now that the Convention was not designed for and strict adherence to its current interpretation will in the end lead to an influx into the UK way beyond any control and methods of processing. It will also lead to deaths in the channel and criminal actions on British Citizens. Do we all know 'why' Asylum seekers and their criminal gang enablers are using the asylum system to get as many people into the UK as possible as it is an excellent business model. France continually tells us that the business model is in part due to our very tolerant view and treatment of asylum seekers. If we continue then the UK will always be the beacon at the end of a long journey for the disparate groups that we already see arriving. It is clearly unsustainable and in the end, and not too far away, if we do not control it it will overwhelm us. Perhaps that is what you want I do not know but the price of your feel good is too high for all of us to bear and realistically it is an imposition on the British public who have been imposed on far too much of late. It is a world problem, not just the UK. Maybe we need to make agreements with other countries and work out a fair system.👍

For instance - A system that auto-transports populations, so any successfully societies find themselves systematically invaded by the 'surplus populations' from failed and repressive societies, isn't going to be fair or work Unfortunately, this seems to be the model currently favoured by the left

Any route is illegal if you do not have the correct documentation A lot of these people have their documents confiscated. Then they will be able to get copies of their entrance visa from the UK Visas and Immigration department and wont have to claim asylum.

I keep saying this, the movement of people will accelerate to proportions beyond controls in place, there will be millions of unfortunate people and harsh as it may sound (perhaps selfish too) we are limited by the number we take because we are a small island and need to put everyone who now lives here first.
I'm past my sell by date so it wont affect me as it will younger people but I still worry about my country.

The world will never be free of injustice and people trying to escape both persecution and economic misery. Once we have sorted out our own house then we can, if we wish, worry about everyone else's. What is happening now is everyone else is visiting their problems on the Anglosphere and Northern Europe. Sweden is the barometer of what is going wrong and what can happen politically if loose immigration policies are followed and generous asylum policies enacted. A stable society is fracturing.

The model favoured by the left is to establish a mechanism to process applicants and return those that do not meet the standard for asylum, simple really and it will save money.

A lot of these people have their documents confiscated. In that case, why do they travel? Because they are being abused, that's what claiming asylum in another country is all about, don't you know that?

The model favoured by the left is to establish a mechanism to process applicants and return those that do not meet the standard for asylum, simple really and it will save money. And how many people will arrive, be processed and allowed to stay if that process is adopted? Bearing in mind that the standard adopted by the left is pretty wide ranging and 100s of millions would meet those standards worldwide and would soon realise that all they needed to do was to get here, or even one of the processing centres outwith the UK also favoured by the left. Sustainability is always the issue and we have seen countries destroyed by refugees all over the world. We can be kind and compassionate and be swamped or we can be tough and compassionate and still take in a few or we can be tough and strict and stop the problem altogether. I always veered to the middle option but now like many others I favour the latter because the left are playing games with people and not just British Citizens.

WE are being pretty cooperative with France and they are taking the piss.

That's just a different way to describe the same thing So the Tories want to process asylum seekers, if so why don't they?

Here we go with the hundreds of millions again.😔 No country has been destroyed by immigration, rather they have been built on immigration, where do you get your info from?
