Now tell us how much they paid for the trip and mobile phones. Everything they have much like the Jews escaping Germany. Not as you may think, I have known several Jewish people who fled from Europe.

Post any official statement from 1940s Germany that alludes to invasions of migrants into Germany . You won’t because there is none , you clown. We are talking about the language of hate and fear. The Nazi's demonised the Jews and others just like the Tories are with asylum seekers, Richard Cranium. You are talking shit. The Nazis did not address an immigration problem by demonising the migrants . The governments words or actions have no parallel to the words or actions of Nazi German . The only one’s talking the language of hate and fear are dishonest lefties like you making false claims.

Lineker used the Nazi comparison to shut down the argument.
He could have said it was cruel without bringing Hitler's mob into it, but he chose to, and ironically used hate speech against another group of people (the Tories) lol.
That is the classic tactic of many on the left. Instead of having a grown up conversation they seek to remove people from the conversation by labelling them Nazi / racists / sexist / homophobe / transphobe.
A grown up argument would have been to say we need to get together with other developed countries and come up with fair quotas for each country, and better aim foreign aid / peace keeping to improve the countries people are fleeing from.

No, an invasion force is 10s of thousands of well armed soldiers supported by ancillary staff and lines of supply arriving at a predetermined point with the intention of killing the defenders to gain access like the Russians are doing now 45,00 people arriving on dinghies, wet, cold, hungry, in fear of their lives and having lost everything over a period of one year does not qualify for the term invasion force. The Tories know exactly what they are doing using this language, it is designed to spread fear and hatred amongst the indigenous population and by all accounts the suckers are falling for it. These are the tactics of the Nazis prior to them gaining full power in Germany which enabled them to commit the most horrendous atrocities. Concentration camps came about after the rhetoric had done its job. You are using the term invasion force here. No one else has. You are mixing terms to try to make a non-existent point. I suppose you are one of these no borders types? 45,765 people is an invasion. Not to mention the ones which arrived undetected. You are playing with semantics, invasion, invasion force but it does show the power of the words used so thank you for proving my point. Invasion: "an occasion when an army or country uses force to enter and take control of another country". We do not have borders at the present time as the Tories are letting all and sundry in.

So some Jews, after losing all their possessions to the Germans did not give what they had on them, money, gold.. to people to get them out of the country and by the way into another with no documents?

He did not mention Nazi's. He alluded to the fact that the language used in 1930s Germany led to the horrors that ensued. We have 'fair' quotas the UK regularly fails to meet its commitments.

Not so, you are taking one meaning and using that meaning as the definitive one. There are other meanings as in "an incursion by a large number of people or things into a place or sphere of activity: "there was a brief pitch invasion when Sunderland scored" SIMILAR: influx inundation inrush rush flood torrent deluge an unwelcome intrusion into another's domain: "random drug testing of employees is an unwarranted invasion of privacy"" So there is little doubt it is an incursion. There is little doubt that it is unwelcome to the majority of the British public. If you were sitting in your garden peaceful enjoying the quite of a summer evening and several people rushed in to escape a street brawl that would still be an invasion of your space and privacy, you may accept it was necessary but the language is sound.

You do know that the Daily mail supported the Nazi's? Everyone knows the Daily Mail supported the Nazis, everyone knows the left at the time supported the Soviet Union and the Comintern, most know the Scottish miners Unions tried to stop the mine owners hiring Eastern European miners before the first world war, many know the Dockers came out on strike in support of Enoch Powell in 1968. These things happen.

How selective and disingenuous in your meaning of invasion. It has meanings without a military element. Can you point me to the text whence Braverman made the distinction? You know what she meant, I know what she meant. It was throwing red meat to the racists.

I was referring to your point as regards teh Mail supporting the Nazis. Many people, many good people, supported some pretty horrendous things in the early 20th century.
