He is getting away with it because he is a contactor, not an employee of the BBC. They just take him off air but I'm guessing they would still have to pay him.
So much for IR35... He has to weekly turn up at a specified time to record a programme, and he cannot send a replacement. Sounds like he should be an employee to me the tax dodging twat!

According to HMRC, he is a BBC employee. And regardless of whether he is a contractor, he still has to comply with the BBC code of conduct... ..well actually, that applies to everyone. My Grandma had a tattoo - the government gave her a number when they interned her in WW2 because she was married to an Italian.. Never thought of Churchill as a Nazi though..I suppose its a point of view..  |
