I understand that Oakeshott signed a non disclosure agreement prior to the work carried out for Hancock. Surely any breach would be a civil matter between Oakeshott and Hancock and not a criminal court? Arguably, if Oakeshott found that illegal actions had been carried out during her research then she is duty bound to report this, otherwise she could be charged with perverting the course of justice by with holding evidence. It is starting to look as though illegal things were being discussed between those in power, for example the falsification of data to indicate a third pandemic, if so the police should seize the lot and look at pursuing charges.
In any event I think both Oakeshott and the DT have done the right thing, if only to reveal just what an absolute shower we chose to govern us, we must not make this mistake again.

All of this supports my suspicion that politics is the art of lying and the ones who climb the greasy pole highest are the best liars . What else did we expect It often seems that way.

I think Ms Oakeshott will have cause to regret her actions. I think it's dishonest to break a confidence and i think she's damaged her reputation. Hancock broke confidence by supplying her with the emails. Why did he send them to her ? Why did he put in place a No Disclosure Notice Agreement that she agreed to abide with and signed ?

How dumb is Hancock to handover those messages to a newspaper journalist... who is anti-lockdown, and who is shagging Richard Tice lol. I was listening to her on LBC, she didn't come out of it well. It was like listening to Gina Miller ie thinking they are super intelligent and morally superior, but nothing but world salad comes out of their mouths. Surely Hancock should be charged with breaking secrecy rules, and he should sue the crap out of her for breaking a NDA for financial gain.I would suggest she has a very good Public Interest Defence.. Nah, she is fucked if he takes her to court: 1) She is shagging the leader of a rival party. 2) Judging by her reaction on the LBC interview she has made money from it. Given both those things she is going to be hard pressed to use a public interest defence. Personally, I doubt Hancock would go that route anyway because the press are bound to have other shit on him.

Who she is shagging is not relevant to a Public Interest Defence - as for making money, she is a journalist so of course she is making money from her stories. I think you would struggle to find a journalist who has had a successful public interest defence who didnt make any money.

She is in a relationship with Richard Tice, the leader of a party that is trying to steal Tory votes... of course that is a major motive. Furthermore, she linked information that has already been passed to the COVID enquiry... so she is just cashing in on what is already going to be made public lol.

LOL - I admire your optimism that the evidence before the enquiry will be made public - ffs we dont even know when or even if the enquiry will actually finish. At least this way people can read for themselves and make up their own minds - an establishment enquiry that filters out the information to give the 'correct' interpretation certainly would not show that the lockdowns were as pointless as these revelations show them to be.

Don't get me wrong, he was very stupid to hand the information over. However, I take this for what it is, private conservations, with little to no context, which people are cherry picking lines from to make sensational headlines. We need a proper enquiry into establish if people were criminally negligent in their handling of COVID, and were contracts awards illegally.

Why did he send them to her Why did he put in place a No Disclosure Notice Agreement that she agreed to abide with and signed She wrote his biography for him.. Or, as i have seen it described elsewhere, he gave her his phone and said ‘write up anything that makes me look good and leave out all the rest’ I think it was Dave Letterman who said to Hugh Grant on his decision to get some Divine attention ‘good god man what the fuck were you thinking’. Or thereabouts. To which Grant had the good grace and manners to look the man and then the camera straight in the face and say ‘well, that was the problem really right there. I wasn’t. Thinking, i mean’ It got some applause and i admit it was a rare moment of honesty on celebrity TV But God almighty what sort of political prick hands the details of his conversations with ministers uncensored to a fucking journalist.
