Our cats take the occasional bird but their usual catch are mice . I suspect the mice population would increase without cats. I wish Cats killed Rats as well A couple of weeks after we moved to the country from London out young cat killed a rat ... it had probably never seen one before. However there's: "Toxoplasma gondii, a brain parasite carried by our feline companions that infects roughly one in three people. Scientists have long hypothesized that T. gondii plays a role in mental illness, including schizophrenia". Maybe during the lockdown people spent much more time with their cats ... which possibly explains the current epidemic of conspiracy theory believers?

New Zealand planned a predator free by 2050,then altered it,I guess too many humans are attached to their furry friends.

New Zealand planned a predator free by 2050,then altered it,I guess too many humans are attached to their furry friends. It's so they can be overrun by rabbits and humans whilst birds of prey starve to death and drivers will have no animals to kill.
