So what?
St David's Day is about kids dressing up and choirs singing Myfanwy lyrics and the lads chucking daffodils at the girls. Flags don't matter. The important thing is to have fun.

We forgot it was shrove tuesday the other day...Not excatly life threatning is it? Only if you consistently consume too many of them — mind you, I guess you’d be put off if they were served up with leeks…

I didn't know it was St David's day, until I saw the Welsh Guards on the front page of Todays Times. As for virtue signalling Labour Sheffield council, their blunders are legendary.

If you’re a patriotic unionist, shouldn’t you have known the saint’s day of one of the UK’s constituent countries…?

I wonder if St Georges day will merit the same type of attention? I wouldn't have thought so. Not by left wing Sheffield council anyway, probably for the best. Christ knows what flag they would run up the flagpole lol.

How embarrassing. We really are at the end of days.
I mean the scottish flag goes back centuries to legends of the 8th century , and the red dragon has been the symbol of the british celts since the post roman period.

Just a bit of trivia......It is St Piran's Day a chance to celebrate Cornish roots and heritage Can't see why not, although these days Cornwall is just an Old Folks Home for the geriatricy of Southern England
Still, Wales is firmly under the control of the Labour Party and Scotland has agreed to do as it is told by the English at Westminster, so we might as well have a bit of a sing song

.....the mighty uk empire under tory rule has agreed to do as its told by the EU regarding its constituent part called northern ireland.
In light of the thread borkie , we need to show the new flag of northern ireland as endorsed by succesive tory prime ministers....
....while heres the british conservative party flag .......
