Ancient Galaxies have been found at the near birth of the Universe, or what we think was the birth, which means the Universe is far older. Or those galaxies were born quickly, burnt quick, and died quick. No one knows.
Quantum mechanics states that any thing is possible, explaining spooky action at a distance, that matter effects matter across the Universe. Anyone want to hazard a guess at whats going on?, that life is a mystery? Are we any closer to understanding owt,?, that quantum mechanics says that understanding is impossible, that the holy grail, understanding, is always out of reach?
If we understand, doesnt that place boundaries, boundaries that dont exist? That creation, god, Universes, know no bounds? That if you hold a penny at arms length up to the sky, and point a telescope at it, galaxies upon galaxies appear, then do that again from those galaxies, ad infinitum.
That to see the face of god, we would see our own reflection.?

That's an interesting philosophical question. If we understand something, that means there is a boundary around the understood. It means that this has become contained - put into a box No matter how big a box becomes, it still has a boundary.

We are all limited by our minds. Before Patrick Moore died he was asked what he knew about space and astronomy and he said, "Nothing". He thought that his life had thrown up far more questions than answers. We expect that the whole universe has the same rules of physics, yet, when spacecraft have left the solar system there have been unexplainable, unexpected effects - bending of time and space. Einstein, Hawking, maybe Sagan had deeper understanding of how things worked, but still had few answers about black holes and event horizons. As to whether there is a God, or gods is for a different thread, but how all of this happened by chance requires an immense amount of faith in chance, in my opinion.
For age and distance of objects in the sky, we tend to rely on the red shift of them, but it is difficult for us to know if the laws of time, gravity and distance either distort or end as we increase distance from our sweet spot on planet Earth.
Perhaps we only think that we are enlightened.

That to see the face of god, we would see our own reflection. QM does not state everything is possible. QM provides the rules on what is possible and what is not by rigorous mathematics. For example there are particle pairs where if one is spin up, the other must be spin down. That's a constraint.
