The Indian Council of Scotland and the Muslim Council of the United Kingdom have this morning issued an extraordinary joint statement regarding their serious concerns about the SNP leadership contest. We reproduce it below at their request. The Indian community in Scotland would live in fear if Humza Yousaf becomes First Minister.
Neil Lal, Chairman and President of The Indian Council, stated:
“We as a community do not feel safe with Humza Yousaf as the First Minister in Scotland. The Indian community – which is a community of all faiths that includes Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, and Judaism – would not feel safe with Humza Yousaf as First Minister.
Our community is law-abiding, hard-working, and proud of our country. Humza Yousaf attacked a nursery publicly and has now walked away without apology. Surely his integrity must be called into question? He has stoked up racial tensions in the Indian Hindu community, and this is not acceptable.”
Mr Wasif Ahmad, Chairman of The Muslim Council of the UK, stated:
“Humza Yousaf is not the right person for the role. We trust Ash Regan or Kate Forbes as First Minister and urge people to vote for one of them, who would heal the damage and be better for Scotland. Humza Yousaf is not competent. We stand with the Indian community and agree with their concerns.”
We call for Humza Yousaf to be asked the same questions as Kate Forbes:
1. Are trans women women?
2. Are children outside marriage allowed?
3. Is sex before marriage allowed?
Anything less is giving Humza Yousaf more favourable treatment in the SNP leadership contest and treating the women candidates of different beliefs at a disadvantage.”

How will more conservative candidates like Forbes and Regan work with the even more radical Scottish Greens?

How will more conservative candidates like Forbes and Regan work with the even more radical Scottish Greens? Popcorn time north of the border. They are busy blaming it on Brexit and just about anything else they can throw hoping something sticks, they voted SNP and backed their policies under the guise of an independent Scotland. We told them all along they were being had by a bunch of core fanatics, they weren't having any of it, even their previous leader who they also set out to destroy eventually wised up when he was in the barrel. |

What a state Scotland is in, if they reject a Christian woman for honestly stating her views, even though she is liberal enough to allow others their views and not vote against same sex marriage.

The very thing Sturgeon doesn't want is a person with any conscience or moral backbone to take over, she needs someone pliable so that she and her husband of convenience can ensure buried secrets don't surface, hence the cult establishment to rubbish Forbes and put in the moron Yousaf.
Anyone who even considers voting for the SNP after this horrendous glimpse of their evil ways must need sectioning, speaking of which, has Jaydee been put under strict medical supervision does anyone know?

What a state Scotland is in, if they reject a Christian woman for honestly stating her views, even though she is liberal enough to allow others their views and not vote against same sex marriage. i agree black. I like kate forbes , have absolutely no problem with her views on religion as long as her religion is left at home and not imposed on scotland if she becomes first minister.
She is a member of the same church as blackford , and i dont recall him being slighted over his religious views as leader of the snp in westminster.
Clearly she is upsetting all the right people.

Why are people catagorised into communities, and more importantly, why are they labelled by their race? It seems rather divisive and only really there for group control by the Commies. Still, maybe those who are part of this community do not wish to be seen as such, which is why they're telling the world they're not going to support this bloke just because he ticks all of the boxes. One can only hope, right?

No doubt you are right. I wouldn't cheer Mr Yousaf on because he is manifestly not the person to be the leader of the devolved Parliament, however I mustn't dampen your enthusiasm for him.
If you subject Ms Forbes to pillory because she is a Christian, doesn't approve of sodomy and is aware of what a women is then you will receive the governance you appear to deserve.

Sone time ago, while in conversation with a parliamentary lobbyist pivotal in getting the England and Wales Sunday shopping restrictions turned in their head in the seventies, i was told by him the 1950’s shops Act enforcing Sunday closure in England and Wales was considered unnecessary north of the border in the grounds the moral code of the Scottish Presbyterian Church would never allow the worship of mammon on the sabbath. Said lobbyist told me those were the actual words used in the commons but i confess i have not checked Hansard. The fact of course is by the mid 70s when David was in full flow attacking the legislation in England and Wales, the tills in Princes St Edinburgh rang out so loud you’d hear them overpower the bells of the churches. |
