All the usual nutters will now come out of the woodwork.......If he is so clever how come he never wins the state lottery every week? … if you have the gift of ‘foresight’ … and you abuse it … it’s possible you might lose it … … why are you abusing people who are given the gift of communication with the ‘spirit world’ … believed by forward thinkers to be part of the multiverse … a multi-dimensional world believed to exist according to scientist’s calculations … just not a physical manifest of the Universe we are used to … detected by our limited 5 senses. For you, an arguably ‘disabled’ person, to call a psychic ‘a nutter’ is very insulting … when some arguably have a 6th sense … as do many animals around the home … who appear sensitive to the ‘spirit world’ …and seem to react to paranormal events. Maybe you would be well advised to research more into this field? … it is very interesting … because the MSM and modern day scientists certainly won’t educate you into a fount of Universal Knowledge available through books … and to a more limited degree, the Internet (if you use a filter) …Maybe one day you will grow up to the idea that our ‘physical’ phase of consciousness … our Universe trapped by atomic bonds … is just a busman’s holiday. Genuine psychics have helped the Police Forces of the World crack many different cases … it’s a hit and miss affair … more misses than hits … and can waste a lot of police time …but when it works … families get great comfort from getting resolution to a crime or disappearance. Sergeant Eldest Son has some entertaining stories of a nutcase in Sheffield who self-describes as a "psychic medium".
As soon as any missing person appeal goes out, or the investigation of a suspicious death is launched, he'll turn up with a crystal on a string.
The strangest thing is that NOTHING will deter him: Even though he has never been invited to help on a case (and has been issued with a number of takedown orders over claiming he is "working with / acting as a consultant to SYPS"), is always told to go home and mind his own business whenever he turns up, and has even been arrested and spent nights in the cells for obstructing a police investigation, he still shows up at Snig Hill within hours of an incident being announced. This has been happening since before SES was a copper.
On the plus side, he's always available to get in touch with your dead grandma (for a small donation...).
