This is happening because ordinary people are not being listened too by our MPs. let the super rich put up with this too and see what happens.........It doesn't help when the government deflects its shortcomings by blaming these people for all the ills that the country is experiencing.........This situation is only going to get worse. If your main concern is numbers, shouldn't you be far more concerned about legal migration at 500,000 rather than the 10s of thousands of asylum seekers? The concerns of many of us who have a working braincell is the FACT that this country is full to the brim thanks to wankers like Blair and the EUSSR..........We have a right to allow those in from other nations if they fullfil our needs and do not bum off the state, many skilled workers are offered a place here as their skills are required thanks to our own skill shortage....But that deserves a thread of it's own.. |

Thanks to international laws on asylum seeking. AFAIA Migrants coming into the country from outside of the EU have always outnumbered those from inside the EU. Why do you think they are a world apart? Or are you conflating 'Democratic Socialists' with the completely different neo Marxists? I'm conflating anything. They have given themselves the label "Democratic Socialists" and choose to single themselves out by their membership of the Socialist Campaign Group. Do you even understand the history of the Labour Party? The Democratic Socialists were barred from the front benches for 30 years. After Corbyn was put on the leadership ballot paper for a joke, and then won, the SD's spent the next two election cycles trying to remove their own leader!! So yes they are world's apart!! Social Democrats = Pro-capitalism. Democratic Socialists = Anti-capitalism. I suggest you're applying labels too widely. Just because one or two Marxists label themselves 'Democratic Socialists' does not mean all that consider themselves democratic socialists are Marxists. |
