I very much doubt those 53 were European judges decisions, far more like incorrect decisions by our officials and judges and the DM doing its frequent tactic of putting a false headline on a story for clickbait effect. For example the ECnHR family life article has a very clear limitation ARTICLE 8 Right to respect for private and family life 1. Everyone has the right to respect for his private and family life, his home and his correspondence. 2. There shall be no interference by a public authority with the exercise of this right except such as is in accordance with the law and is necessary in a democratic society in the interests of national security, public safety or the economic well-being of the country, for the prevention of disorder or crime, for the protection of health or morals, or for the protection of the rights and freedoms of others.

thomas ... "its funny though sid , a longtime labour supporter , calling the labour voting people of merseyside "bigots" .
Its as if they have learned nothing in recent years"
.................................................................
I have MOSTLY voted Labour, sometimes Lib Dem, and I was not refering to the people of Merseyside as been bigots, I was refering to posters her in this forum who jump to conclusions, make assumptions and make sweeping statements in order to further their prejudiced minds.
As for Knowsley and the wider area surrounding Knowsley, its as rock solid Labour as you can possibly get, the safest Labour seats in the country. You see, Liverpool people know who they are, what they are, and they remember ... they remember such things as poverty and hardships, and how the Unions gave them decency, hope and a fighting chance.
The people of Merseyside see no point in voting for a party of millionaires, corrupt business men, and dodgy business dealings, aristocrats and the new breed of oportunist populists of the Red Wall variety.
The people of Merseyside wipe their arse s on The Sun newspaper, there are no Conservative MPs in or around Liverpool, they dont exist.

ALL people deserve human rights, ( basic human rights ), no matter who you are, and basic human rights must be equal amongst all people, yes .. even amongst those charged with crimes.
To say that people charged with crimes, suspected of committing crimes, or even those convicted of crimes, cannot have basic human rights, is utterly ridiculous and a highly dangerous path to take.
Even prisoners must have basic human rights, as must Prisoners of War, asylum seekers, refugees, political prisoners.
Once you accept that such people should not have basic human rights, then you are not setting the example, its as good as a Green Light for terrorists, extremists and oppressive regimes to do to our people, what we always hoped they would not do ... torture, imprisonment without trial, summary executions etc.
We have to set the standard

Torbay’s main form of income is in tourism, now we are nearing the start of the holiday season in Easter, how. Are these hotels going to tell their regular and new clients that their hotels are full of criminals? We are nearing interesting times…

You have repeatedly reffered to people in merseyside as bigots , far right and other slurs linking them with groups such as the bnp and edl.
Hopefully the scousers will one day wake up to the labour party and its supporters .Its not as if they havent been given enough hints of what labour really think of them by people like you calling them bigots and of course who can forget the antics of the dodgy joe anderson , the former disgraced labour mayor from his time in power in merseyside?
