The UK economy had the biggest hit from the pandemic - but that was a political decision. For instance while the UK took the ridiculous decision to shut down much of the economy and pay people to sit at home doing nothing much of the US kept going as normal. Now we are suffering from a culture where people have got used to not working and the State paying them to do f*ck all. Hence we are coming back from a very low point - even being the fastest growing economy in the G7 is not enough. Fine, so that's your answer to the question why the UK economy is doing worse than the rest of G7. Simple. Sorted. You're back on track. You've even created another talking point. Well done. There was no need to refute or deny the fact with a chart showing that the UK's growth rate is the highest in G7 and then go on and on and on about it. The chart was in response to your OP which was complaining about low growth rates.. If that was not the point you were trying to make then perhaps you should have made a better OP.

Global recession is on the horizon. When it happens and Germany, France, the whole EU, as well as ourselves, the Commonwealth and the USA all go into recession, remoaners will still try to blame Brexit rather than looking facts in the face. Post Covid crisis and with a major war taking place in Ukraine, there are very powerful recessive forces at play. At least we are sovereign and can actually respond. Until we deal with the corrupting influence of the US in bribing our politicians we are not as sovereign as you would wish for. Johnson has been paid £5m now for shafting us. Rishi seems to be moving to the Left.

US influence is not a problem, the USA are not bombing our friends. The USA helped us to resist Nazi Germany in WW2. They are helping Ukraine (and the free world) to resist Nazi Russia in 2023.
Down with dictatorships. Down with Putin.

Down with dictatorships. Down with Putin. You are blinded. This has nothing to do with Russia as far as I know. What I do know is some people paid him £5m and some other people arranged a bridging loan. Those who pay him are all American as far as I know and even my own MP was paid off from a US pharmaceutical firm with a five figure amount. Yes I know it is small change compared to Johnson's gang, but unless we stamp it out we might as well be back in the EUSSR.

So with the release of the latest economic data from Germany it now appears that German GDP is now back below its pre-Covid level (Q4 2019), joining the UK and Spain - And looking at total growth since Q2 2016, the UK economy is above Germany.
Also looks like Germany is currently in recession.
