Good for him, how dare he tell these lazy fat sods who sit on their fat arses all day to do the job they are employed for..........in this woke world we live in,any manager asking an employee to do something is classed as bullyin.........So, he gets on the case of the lazy civil servants who work for him and they make it their mission to get him thrown out of office. If they succeed, it really will show who pulls the strings up there, as if people don't already realise it
'I'm confident I have behaved professionally': Dominic Raab vows to 'engage' with public inquiry over bullying claims
Dominic Raab has launched a fresh defence of his conduct, claiming it is possible to have high standards without being a bully.
The Deputy Prime Minister, who is under investigation after complaints from at least 24 civil servants across several Whitehall departments, pledged to ‘engage’ with the inquiry.
Mr Raab requested an independent investigation into his behaviour in November following two complaints when he was in the Foreign Office and Ministry of Justice.

I'm not that bothered about whether he is a bully or not. I'm more concerned about him being a useless twat.

Quite right and I agree, good for him. I hope he does take on outraged lefties in the civil service and on the opposition benches who are of the opinion that anyone who says 'bullshit' is a bully. There should be no place in politics for this sort of left wing snowflakery.

Same happened to Priti Patel, she only hung on by the skin of her teeth and there was a big payout.

When Raab sought to become our PM 2019 I thought: "What's a thug like him doing in Parliament?". My impression of him was based upon the "faces" he uses when making public statements. He does give the impression that he has a "gangster mentality".

He does give the impression that he has a "gangster mentality". you can't judge a book by its cover, he does look like a no nonsense guy, so if staff were intimidated just by his looks then that's unfair, you will find the 'boss' of any organisation has to show some authority, you would have to fire nearly every boss in the land if you accused them of bullying when in fact it's just like any other boss, doing what the job title describes being the 'boss'.

We need a plain speaking thug in Parliament, if he is found guilty on all counts of bullying civil servants then I think we are looking at a potential Prime Minister who might get us out of the current mess.
I can't see anyone on the Labour front bench capable of bullying civil servants.

Raab only bullied women though. He hasn't bullied anyone. For Christ sake these days someone is always carping on about being bullied, and lets face it, it's usually a snowflake lefty who's bawling because a nasty Tory looked at him/her/it, the wrong way. I sincerely hope Sunak does the right thing and stands by Raab. Perhaps that would send a message to snowflake lefties to stop whinging about nothing. Failing that, they could leave and start working for a living. Although I wouldn't have thought that idea was very popular among the woke warriors at the civil service.

Both Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair (who said he admired Thatcher) were reputed to have behaved in a very dominant fashion towards other senior politicians in one to one meetings with them. One senior politician said about Blair that he is a very good actor, that the public never see the true Tony Blair. The question about Raab is: Has he used similar tactics on people lower down the pecking order ... people who can't cope with such behaviour?
Shortly after I started working in a factory the manager "had a go at me" in front of other workers. I responded with: "What's the matter with you?". He didn't reply ... just gazed at me for 2-3 seconds then walked off. A short time later I was called into his office ... and promoted to a more responsible, higher paid job. "Most people here are afraid of me" he said.
