Wouldn't surprise me, just think about it, Putin could have been taken out any time by the 'powers', but he serves a purpose, what that purpose is I don't know.
We know how the West deals with tyrants, Bin Laden, Gaddafi, Saddam Hussein, they just take them out. Putin is a sitting duck that the West have no intentions of eliminating, even though he's not only causing the Ukraine people, his own people but the world at large misery. Ask yourselves why hasn't he been stopped. So in other words he's a useful idiot.

According to the Media Putin has a large security detail that protects him 24/7 nobody can get close to him no matter where he is even in the Kremlin, he knows full well that he will be taken out should his security detail make a mistake

That's the point, I don't think there is any plan to take him out, he seems to be suiting agendas other than his own.

Who do you think is really running the show?
Hard to say with Putin, but someone pointed out he was a "WEF Young Leader" but they tried to scrub all mention of that off their site.
