Serving member of British Army, 21, charged with terror and explosives offences.

A 21-year-old serving member of the British Army has been charged with terror and explosives offences. The charges relate to two incidents in Staffordshire in August 2021 and January this year, the Metropolitan Police said. It comes following an investigation from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command.

Student nurse Mohammad Farooq has appeared in court after being accused of plotting a terrorist attack on an RAF base in Yorkshire.

Well think of it like this, if people didn't volunteer to join the armed forces the government would be faced with two choices:

1. Not to have any armed forces

2. To bring back conscription

What do you think would happen?

More than likely I don't think our armed forces would want conscription back again, they want committed recruits with the commitment and good educational qualification to deal with all the complicated bits of kit they have these days.
