And yet the US has lower rates of salmonella poisoning than the EU. Well said. We should consider chlorine washing chicken, and pork. It'd be better than adding carcinogenic nitrites. And we should not go down the route of allowing insects on the plate. Not only are there hygiene issues and also squeamish issues. Insects are not part of our natural diet, enzymes are extremely important in breaking down food properly. If our enzymes don't work on insect matter, then there's a risk of increased dietary ailments in the population. Not much point in bleaching pork. Unlike chicken the main pathogens in pork aren't on the surface of the meat.

But the thing is, you wash the surface so that when you're handling it, you're less likely to transfer surface germs about.

The best thing to do with your bleach is inject it to cure covid. COVID vaccine is essentially toilet duck. Not a lot of people know that .

Funny how the Europhiles are not leaping to the defence of the EU in this thread to tell us how lovely EU food standards are. It's not that long ago they were telling us Brexit meant chlorinated chicken and all manner of horrors in the kitchen. Now look at the situation. eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX:32023R0005 Yep EUSSR food standards are so good they are reverting back to allowing offal being fed to livestock,,,,,,Buy from the EUSSR and become as mad as those inbred bastards...

As Globalists dodge the jab …dine on steak and quaff champaign on their private super yachts and islands … chemtrails criss-cross our skies over Western areas of high population density they created from forced immigration …
The sprayed dead insects and plant options soon to be clogging supermarket shelves and your failing arteries … as myocarditis racks your covid-jabbed bodies …. will soon make you like the food fodder farm animals we see from farming lockdown situations indoors ….
We are now working slave ‘cattle’ to their bio-engineering projects …. And you thought the EU was the bright new future for your children? Poor saps!
The cull of the POOR who cannot afford to escape the spray/jab/processed insect diets of the future … is now assured.
Leave their chemical/insect food to rot and stink out the supermarket managers offices … protest and demand chemical-free real food from Governments … not sprayed insects mashed to a pulp and hidden in Ingredients lists on badly informed packaging.
EU President neo-Nazi Ursula van der Leyen won’t be making INSECTS the mainstay of her diet any day soon …. but she will probably be profiteering from feeding this awful New Age WOKE ‘offal’ to the refugees of the Country her EU colleagues helped to undermine and destroy since 2014. ….. Ukraine.

It's not just hygiene, there's also the matter of food compatibility due to the role of enzymes in digestion. A lack of suitable enzymes and there's a big risk of dietary conditions affecting people.
It's an unnecessary experiment.

It's an unnecessary experiment. John the Baptist lived on honey and locusts, apparently. Which kept the locust population down a bit, but didn't stop his head being cut off.

It's an unnecessary experiment. you have not said anything that does not already apply to every other animal meat product. so, of course, all medical and hygiene practices will be the same for insect food production as all food production. i mean, the human digestive system is not even designed for cows milk so still not seeing any difference here, vinny

Correct, the human digestive system is not even designed for cows milk, how many people have problems from lactose intolerance ? Loads. Therefore there is the risk of even worse problems, with this. Because the European digestive system hasn't developed enzymes for these things.
