What is your point exactly?
How else do you fund political parties if it is not through 3rd party donations?
Labour would be fucked for starters with no trade union money lol.

How do you think any party is funded? Would your beloved labour louts be here if it wasn't from donations from the unions and other dubious sources including China and Russia.

... Next Too much Morgan out of a bottle mate. So you can't find a sensible answer and have to resort to abuse and innuendo then? Now pay attention. You fall for it every time. You have to remember that you two half wits don't make one wit between you. I've told you a million times I don't support Labour but you two are apparently the only two numpties in the country who after 13 years of Tory chaos and you're still chanting "Anyone but Labour." You'll never learn. I am a floating voter. You are supporting a drowning dying party. Kids going hungry to school? Thousands of homeless with no chance of a decent one and all you can cry is "Labour would be worse.Ner ner ner. " You must be bloody mad.

You poor little sensitive soul.....You bloody closet lefties are all the same, but that is the problem with those who share the same mono cell. You and c2's posts prove otherwise you soon dive in to protect labour but do fuck all else but knock the tories.. We know the tories are shit but they are he best of the bunch at he moment. If someone doesn't support the Tories, it doesn't mean they support Labour. If someone doesn't support Labour it doesn't mean they support the Tories.
Now read that about 48 times and you might remember it.

If I am correct there isn't so much a criticism of the Tory party as a criticism of how they conduct their business affairs particularly with regard to tax havens and loopholes. Now Labour politicians may do the same. But Morgan named publicly known information about Tory donors. The question I ask is why if you have so much money that you can afford solicitors and accountants to arrange for tax avoidance, would you pay money into the Tory party. Possible answers: The Tories would never pass a law that costs you something You get invited to the right places and parties where you can do off the record deals. You can exert a lot of pressure on Tory legislation by threatening to withdraw support. You get free holidays in each others private getaways including yachts and hotels. You get to be a Lord where all those benefits multiply just by using the title. Better service, entry into private clubs, special insider information.
The whole thing is like a shadow royalty and it starts with having enough money to pay into it. It is the unshakable class system that produces more for those inside it and less for those outside it. It is why so few new homes are being built...too many and the value of the current stock (owned by Tory property companies) goes down. Why there isn't more internal investment in start ups and venture capital...money is safer abroad and out of the UK where taxes are relatively high.
The whole ancient system of aristocracy and brown paper envelopes will never stop until the country gets rid of the Lords and rid of off shore accounts. And it can't come fast enough.

I think it far worse the Labour party being funded by Unions that are bringing the country to a standstill and holding the country to ransom with strikes.
Schools next week, children who lost out education during Covid now being used as political pawns, the Labour party should hang their heads in shame, and Starmer who hasn't got the balls to come right out and condemn these strikes, the shithouse that he is.
The alternative to the Tories is far worse, and most intelligent people know that, Blair single handed fucked up the NHS in 2004, and the NHS has never recovered, one word of advice, if you are a 'floating voter' vote for any one other than Labour, or you might not live to regret it.
