The UK has been ranked only in the third tier of a new global index of freedom of expression due to what was described as the “chilling effect” of government policies, policing and intimidation of journalists in the legal system. I think not. Free speech has never in my lifetime been so endangered in this country. You have to be very carefull what you say because these days feeble lefties actively search for offence. The result being, people look over their shoulder before expressing an opinion, the outraged left have succeeded in encouraging a Stasi-like environment where people are reported and cancelled for misgendering or expressing an opinion and that, is not free speech. |

I don't think you mean this crack down on free speech Red,anyone who calles out the official narrative on Ukraine is totally cancelled,next month in London there is a demo against Nato and War,Galloway is involved,two venues have already cancelled the meetings,when did you last see Galloway or anyone of his like on BBC question time or any such TV shows,anyone who calls the establishment out is cancelled.
