Yeah. They can't resist it. Hanging out with world leaders is a glamour.
She'll sign us up to loads of stuff. It's a club they all want to be a part of. The world leaders club.

It's dodgy Red, this is the UK quietly slipping in to the EU by the backdoor.

It's dodgy Red, this is the UK quietly slipping in to the EU by the backdoor. That's just a continuation of the usual method our deceitful LibLabCon party MPs deploy in their pretend practise of democracy. Their excuse is, We are representatives not delegates. What they mean is, 'I am elected to enact my own convictions, The convictions of the people who elected me are subordinate to mine.

It's dodgy Red, this is the UK quietly slipping in to the EU by the backdoor. That's exactly my worry. The realities of EEC and EU membership were kept well away from the electorate by all governments since the 1970's. In 1973 Ted Heath in a live TV broadcast said... ..." There are some in this country who fear that in going into Europe we shall in some way sacrifice independence and sovereignty. These fears, I need hardly say, are completely unjustified." That ^ was an absolute lie - www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1283232/brexit-news-eu-uk-trade-talks-edward-heath-referendum-letter-sptPro EEC/EU bureaucrats have lots of patience, they plan years ahead and thy have made little secret of the fact that they expect the UK re-join the EU, and when I see Truss getting all pally with Macron and joining some euro nations club, alarm bells start to ring...

ZG, it is not necessary for us to be governed from Belgium in order to make trade agreements. In fact, quite the reverse. As an EU state, whether we liked it or not we had to rely on an unknown EU trade commissioner to sign trade deals on our behalf and whose loyalties were to the EU.

How's that US trade deal going Red? 6 years and we're still at the back of the queue. When do we get our bleached chickens?

Monte, the EU state of UK was not allowed to negotiate trade deals. An EU trade commissioner negotiated trade deals that were beneficial for the EU, not individual EU states.
