www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-64355631Ok it’s only a Scotland story because of the people involved, but I think this is a tad unfair. I mean I know conditions on the Megabus are a bit primitive, how else can they afford to offer travel for £1, but to compare them to trafficking cattle trucks is going a bit far

I've never used a Megabus, always imagined a load of tramps using them, the smell of cheap spirits, and cold sweat.

I've never used a Megabus, always imagined a load of tramps using them, the smell of cheap spirits, and cold sweat. Yeah. They are a bit …. Low end of the market. Literally decades ago I used the train and bus network to get to the holiday centre in Derbyshire the girlfriend and I were spending a week at, and a few years back the train was the easiest and least expensive way for us to get our arses to Heathrow, and Gatwick a few years before that. But these blue buses do seem the ‘ibis budget’ end of the market !!

I travelled to Cornwall by National Express in my early 20's, that took forever.
