Who was it on the previous forum who used to copy and paste these lists? It soon became apparent that he hadn't read most of them, let alone understood them. Isn't it against forum rules? It should be.

I beg his pardon. I'd somehow got hold of the idea that Darling was a reincarnation of Kim. 2. Evidence? 3. It should be against forum rules because it is against the spirit of debate to require others to give their opinions when you haven't had the courtesy to give your own. And asking people to give their own opinions is emphatically not "censorship". 4. I've checked forum rules, and they don't mention this. Notice my question mark, and my opinion that it should be against the rules.

Notice my question mark, and my opinion that it should be against the rules. his posts have never looked anything like Kim's the evidence is that when he posted these lists before *(but usually much shorter than this one) and people discussed some of the things on the list who was always able to reply with counter points and info. obviously he would not be able to do that if he did not know what was on the list why should it be against the rules? why do you want to dictate what people do or do not post? we had a poll recently, and most members on here do no want that sort of culture. they like the freedom this place has to offer. if he wants to post a huge long list of the type which inevitably most people would ignore, what difference does it make to you? Dubdrifter also posts marathon essays most of us cannot be bothered with.

I gave my argument above for why I think it should be against the rules. My opinion isn't dependent on or swayed by polls. I favour the freedom to state one's opinions, and regretted the demise of the previous forum due to Fox's disapproval of certain opinions.

Not to limit their freedom to express their own opinions, but yes, not to allow long posts which don't contain their opinions. It's unfair on the unwary reader who may suppose that s/he is entering a debate. However, we're miles off topic. Entirely my fault.

Besides, you are wrong, it was obvious what his opinion was when he made his post Nothing unfair about it. If they way he goes about it does not suit your needs, then just ignore it. Why should there be a rule banning something just because you do not like it?

I did wonder what the hell David Davis has to do with 887 separate points (sorry, I read the first three and the last three, and got bored with the others, I presume there ARE 887 ?) all slagging off Brexit.
I mean, it’s not as if he created them all is it.

That is the only opinion of Darling's that can be deduced from her or his posts above, and it can be stated in three words. For the rest of your post, this is just re-stating the point that we've both already given our opinions on.

885: Tax Revenues.
The United Kingdom used to have an HM Inspector Of Taxes, a Dept of Health and Social Security and a HM Department of Customs And Excise. Three very separate groups each focussed on their own area of interest.
Maybe if the government wanted to keep Tax Revenue Investigators available to investigate tax revenue they should not have lumped all three different areas into one in a false indeed utterly phoney money saving move which was nothing of the sort.
Also, avoiding a situation where it is illegal to pay a minimum wages worker less than the UK tax threshold, thus pointlessly overburdening the tax office with literally millions of utterly pointless tax returns would be a useful way to focus where the most can be received for the work done.

He even posted that in his OP. So now you just want to ban him from posting his given opinion because he wrote it in a way you do not like. Censorship then

David Davis at one point was in a Brexit role en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secretary_of_State_for_Exiting_the_European_UnionHowever that was back in 2018 and things have moved on since. Unlike the Project fear projections the NHS still works, my Dad had another blood test, the trains are also running at least today, there's is food in the supermarkets and planes flying overhead. Also see police cars daily on the streets.
