A long term businessman who built and sold part of his empire, was chancellor and who potested that he overlooked a tax bill in 7 figures. Give me a break. Just another Tory sleazebag who learned lessons from Boris while sucking the toes of the most frequent manipulator of millions ever discovered. I admit there could have been previous politicians who begged, borrowed or stole but Boris is up there with the best of them. Just announced...Boris was facilitated a loan of 800,000 quid by the man who was soon after, appointed head of the BBC. www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-64362640Any connection is being investigated. And the effing government refuses to discuss nurses pay.

Want an even bigger laugh? How about this: The Foreign Secretary James Cleverly says the fact that Nadim Zahowi had to pay the revenue £3.7 million in back tax and a fine or penalty of £1.1 million is no one else's business. He claims it should have been kept secret. He said people's tax affairs are personal and private. (Even it would seem, if they are crooks.) metro.co.uk/2023/01/22/james-cleverly-says-tax-affairs-of-ministers-should-be-kept-private-18145245/These pair are not a good advert for the Conservative party.

Just this pair? The whole administration is playing into Labour’s hands. Unless any ethics investigation openly and visibly sifts every bit of information over this and all previous suspicious activities by previous Conservative prime ministers and ministers, this administration will justifiably go down in history as the sleaziest to date…

I’m a believer in the basic Tory aim of equality of opportunity which thus allows strivers to benefit from the trouble they take to learn and the effort they put into making an enjoyable life. But I’m not a blinkered class-ridden bigot who believed salvation came with Boris, and should ever more be so…

However, if it's any consolation I think Sunak should have sacked Zahowi straight away, not ordered an investigation.

Our country has working ballot boxes, voters will get rid of him.
Such a shame that the largest country on our planet doesn't enjoy the same basic liberty.
