Terrible but how did he get away it for so many years ? The worrying thing is how this monster was not taken down years ago,a failure by the police to investigate their own,his nickname was bastard Dave, because other cops knew how he treated women, like the other met animal who murdered Sahra Everard his nickname was rapist, there is something sick at the heart of that police force, and both were men from the Diplomatic protection squad, not your everyday beat Cop.

His offences were possibly difficult to sift out from among the 1000 other complaints currently being reactivated…

And, unlike Russian military, Met officers can't claim rape is a weapon to subdue the unruly population, so it's unbelievable how many continue in the force...

The Met Police Commissioner Rowley was on the news earlier addressing the London Assembly
Sir Mark Rowley told the London Assembly police and crime committee that two or three criminal cases against officers are expected to go to court every week in the coming months.
He added that moves to reform the Metropolitan Police will not be rapid and will be painful, speaking in the wake of the case of PC David Carrick.

It's a total failure of police recruiting, training, safeguarding and discipline that these events have been allowed to happen. Cressida Dick presided over most of this. Mark Rowley will have no hair left to rip out. I wouldn't fancy his job. The last time they had a major clean up in the met, (Operation Countryman) the investigating officers from county forces were obstructed, abused and threatened with death. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Countryman

I remember how some police officers were bullied by bent officers who were on the take, it was quite shocking. I'd like to think the same couldn't happen today, but who knows.

This arsehole Kiddie Fiddler was accepted into the Met two years ago, according to the News he was already abusing a girl of 14 years but he got through the vetting, as it appears she told nobody , the vetting procedure needs to be more robust and more in depth, when one child did that is when he was investigated he was put on duties away from the public whilst the evidence was gathered and charged and suspended

And another one... Dorset police officer charged with two counts of rape. PC Ravi Canhye, 46, is accused of committing eight sexual offences while off-duty. www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/jan/30/dorset-police-officer-charged-rapeIt was the Dorset Constabulary my son attempted to join when he was told that all places for white entrants had been taken, he was invited to re-apply in two years time. I wonder if PC Ravi Canhye was fast tracked into the force to meet diversity quotas?

Another one
Constable Sam Grigg, 36, used duct tape to restrain the woman at a house in Twickenham, south-west London, on 2 December last year.
The victim, who is in her twenties, suffered minor injuries during the incident but did not require hospital treatment.
PC Grigg tied tape around her wrists and ankles and covered her mouth with tape. Police said he detained the woman for a short period of time and then cut her free using a knife, injuring her with the blade in the process.
PC Grigg and the victim were known to each other, his police misconduct hearing was told.
Assistant Commissioner Barbara Gray, who chaired the accelerated misconduct hearing in London on Monday morning, said PC Grigg’s behaviour was proven to amount to gross misconduct and the only appropriate response was dismissal without notice.
Grigg, who is on remand awaiting sentencing and appeared via video link from HMP Wandsworth, was also barred from ever becoming a police officer again.

And another one
Paul Banks, who worked as a Police Constable with Greater Manchester Police, told the woman to create an email account before he accessed explicit videos and pictures she had uploaded to it, a Gross Miscondust Meeting heard.
The officer clicked on these more than 200 times and failed to report them to his colleagues.
His own colleagues at Greater Manchester Police rooted him out and reported him to the force's Professional Standards Branch.
