Kent Police Diversity and Inclusion Academy. I agree, it does sound like the title of a sitcom, something along the lines of 'The Thin Blue Line' perhaps. Alas, it is not the title of the BBC's latest politically correct sitcom. Kent Police Diversity and Inclusion Academy, is in-fact, a reality. Have a read of this: As the Chief Constable [Alan Pughsley QPM] I have created a Diversity and Inclusion Academy which will work with existing mechanisms to provide greater capacity and capability to bring the breadth and depth needed to make diversity, inclusion and cohesion, business as usual. This is the first force in the country to create an Academy and moving forward we hope to be the nationally recognised leaders establishing best practice and continually seeking to develop.

I have long suspected that the police have been conditioned to see criminals and victims as two cheeks of the same arse.ie Crooks are victims of circumstance and the victims are symptoms of social injustice .
Catching crooks is too time consuming and futile . Better and easier to be the thought police .

I suspect your thoughts are reflected by the vast majority of ordinary sensible people in this country who are sick to death of diversity and inclusion. We had this sort of bollocks with the fire brigade. Now in my past I’ve had need of those particular heroic individuals and the fact is I don’t give a fuck what genitalia they have / had, what pronouns they use or what colour they are (they’re all the same colour going back to base, smoky black) The last occasion on which I interacted with them, a tumble drier in a hotel I was staying at short circuited and acrid stench, burning wire insulation and thick black smoke was my wake up call preceded by a whoop whoop noise in the ceiling. Outside in the fire assembly zone I sent a text to my eldest letting her know in case she saw the news and wondered. I expected a reply OMG are you ok. What I got was ‘cool, have any got a cute arse and no wedding ring’. I replied ‘one does have a cute arse but SHE was driving the wagon’ . In my past I’ve had to exit a building from the third floor onto a flower bed, leave a factory through a water curtain put up by a water tender crew and exit via a ladder from the back rooms of another factory whose front main entrance was well alight. I have no idea if the chippendale who guided us through that water curtain was straight or bent as a nine Bob note, and the woman who appeared at the skylight of the other incident with a colleague and a ladder was quite easily the equal of her male colleague on strength and stamina grounds judging by the way she held that ladder and grabbed each of us at the top of the roof to aid our exit. That’s all I care about. There should be one standard of strength / stamina / fitness etc and if you pass it you’re in. I fear that sadly some left leaning twats will demand the bar be lowered in the interests of ‘diversity’ and lives will be lost. |

Diversity is indeed a race to the bottom, it ensures the best candidates are overlooked and has killed any notion of a meritocracy, and the annoying thing is everyone knows. It should all be scrapped, diversity, positive discrimination, positive action and whatever buzzword the left are going to come up with next, it should all be scrapped and we should go back to a meritocracy in which the best candidate succeeds regardless of sex or colour. |
