The trade union's dogmatism is driving support aways, the Government has a duty to protect all, not just those in unions that use blackmail tactics. More than half of voters back Rishi Sunak's new 'minimum service' law to limit strike action by paramedics, firefighters and rail staff - but want unions punished for breaching it rather than individual workers 56% support legislation to bring in minimum service levels during strike action Would force paramedics, firefighters and railway workers to protect public But voters were against punishing workers directly for breaking the new law www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11627075/More-half-voters-Rishi-Sunaks-new-minimum-service-law-limit-strike-action.html

Your Tory government is doomed, the writting is on the wall
If the present 20 point lead in the opinion polls were to be half of what they are, the Labour Party would have a decent majority in an election tomorrow.
The NHS is the definining factor, there is now no way the Conservatives can come back now

The "Minimum service level" is a lie so that the Tories can pretend that the system is still working while running it down further. As anyone who's ever worked in the public sector knows, the "Minimum" service level soon becomes the new normal. So if this goes ahead, you'll still die waiting for an ambulance while the government tells you that everything's fine and they've sorted out those naughty unions.

It is because 13 years of the Tory Westminstre wankers have turned bankrupt England into a third world economy. It is ranked between the 28th and 38th Richest Country in the world and the 14th Richest in Europe.. That is third world basket case. Not to mention it has the worst performing economy in the G7 beaten only by Russia. And the worst pension in the developed world. With a NHS that it is trying to privatise and on the point of collapse. You are very correct it is the duty of government to protect all. But alas this bunch of Westminster fascist wankers protect themselves. Forgetting There were 4.3 million children living in poverty in England in 2020-21. That's 27 per cent of children, or eight in a classroom of 30. More than one in five of the the population of England (22%) are in poverty That's 14.5 million people. Of these, 8.1 million are working-age adults, 4.3 million are children and 2.1 million are pensioners. And that just might be a reason to go on strike. I wonder when the lefty thicky brickys of the building industry will come out. Now I bet that would get right up the usual righty's left nostril

And there was me thinking people in England were already dying waiting for a ambulance. Or dying while waiting in it. What is recommended response time. Ah Category 1 calls in 7 minutes on average and respond to 90% of Category 1 calls in 15 minutes. Never mind it is now down to between just over one and a half hours and two days. www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-11626977/NHS-emergency-care-crisis-laid-bare-999-response-times-worst-ever.html
