Boris Johnson tells Tories: Here's how we WILL beat 'Captain Crasheroonie Snoozefest' Keir Starmer Boris Johnson has issued a rallying cry to the Conservative Party, urging it to unite to defeat Sir Keir Starmer. The former prime minister told supporters at the Carlton Club last night that the 'political dynamic' will change, allowing the Tories to ‘win again’. Once again branding Sir Keir ‘Captain Crasheroonie Snoozefest’, he told supporters and club members there was ‘only one party’ that would cut tax, stand up to union barons and disrupt ‘evil’ people-smuggling gangs. www.msn.com/en-gb/news/other/boris-johnson-tells-tories-here-s-how-we-will-beat-captain-crasheroonie-snoozefest-keir-starmer/ar-AA16dcFg?ocid=winp1taskbar&cvid=66d724d6f9bd4c37a4eba6aafea6843dWhat a ridiculous and infantile statement for a man and alleged senior politician to make. I fully expect him to come out with "My Dad's bigger than your Dad. Ner ner ner." at Starmer in the Commons next. Prat that he is.

He may well indeed be a prat but millions of people voted for him in spite of his obvious character flaws. What does that say about them? It tells me that there are millions of idiots in this country, that the idiot vote is large, and that no one can win an election without winning the support of a large part of it. And what that prat has proved is that a good way to win the support of idiots is not through honesty or integrity or competence, but simply by being a good laugh down the pub.

Morgan, regardless of your thoughts about Boris the fact remains he is still very popular with a lot of people. That's the trouble. Here we are after 13 years of Tory misrule bankruptcy and strikes and yet people still support the idiot and blame Starmer who has been powerless under a Tory majority of 80. For how many more years are you going to support this buffoon? Are you waiting for more food shortages, rising prices or riots in the streets? Or do you think there should be more charity run food banks to avoid any more problems? You must be bloody mad while all you can do is chant "Under Labour things would be worse."

The winners of elections though generally succeed by a successful appeal to the idiot vote. It is starting to look like it might fall in behind Starmer next time, but we'll see

Why do you suppose the media are still talking about Boris? He is just a back bench MP yet he's in the news more than Sunak or Starmer. No one is talking about Truss yet she replaced Boris. And what makes you think I support him? I quite like him because he has charisma and personality, much like Blair did however, I don't think he has any hopes of returning to number 10. Btw you mention strikes, food shortages and rising prices and naturally you blame the nasty Tories, presumably because covid, the war in Ukraine and the global economic downturn is the fault of the Tories. Have you had a look to see what's going on in the eurozone lately? I accept you wont see this sort of news on the BBC but as bad as things are for some people in this country right now, I'd sooner be here that in the EU.

If the only effective choice is one between the Tories and Starmer's Labour you are probably right. I shall be voting for neither.

We get the leaders we deserve. And then suffer the consequences. For some reason the people of the UK prefer to be entertained rather than be able to rely on good sense and dignified balanced governance. And then expect to be taken seriously by the rest of the world.

Some people appear to ignore the fact when Labour were voted out of Office the Treasury Coffers were empty that is why the Tories had no other choice but to cut Public Spending to the bone the years of Austerity to try and try to fill the coffers again, its a good job they did or we would have to borrow even more money to deal with the worldwide Pandemic

They had to get shut of him before he got rid of the silver and anything else that wasn't nailed down.
