The standard MO for the fuckwit krankie....You know the UK government in Westminister have got it right when it rattles her cage.
Nicola Sturgeon has pledged to fight the UK Government’s legislative proposals for minimum service levels during industrial action “every step of the way”.
Under the plans, minimum safety levels would be introduced to ensure vital public services – including fire, ambulance and rail – maintain a “basic function” when workers go on strike.
But the proposals from Business Secretary Grant Shapps have been branded an “attack on workers’ rights” by the SNP.
Unions have also condemned the legislative plans as unworkable and illegal.
The Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Bill would apply across the whole of the UK as employment law is a reserved to Westminster.

Hi jonksy Is this not a left/right issue and not exclusive to scotland? That is, I expect the labour party to fight it.

I'm not sure where the SNP are when it comes to policies apart from their main one of hating Westminster and wanting to break the Union. Are they socialists? Are the y centre left? I once suggested that they are left wing and got mansplained until I was bored. However, I don't see anything Sturgeon does as being right wing policies, so I put her down as a liberal lefty.
And.. liberal lefties are general supportive of unions, as they like their money to top up their funds.

Just as they did with all the previous Laws constraining industrial action by the Unions..

Their actions are not as left wing as their rhetoric. Although they did try harder with the nurses and one of the transport unions to satisfy them than the uk government.

Years of dissapointment in the labour party. A significant part of the drive for independence comes from an idea that independent Scotland will be more left wing than they're allowed to be in the UK.
