I'm eyeing up some new fence panels, Borky. The wind and weather have had their way and I checked the bank balance before ordering from Wickes and was pleasantly surprised. The government have sent me about £1100 this year for extra fuel costs, and I haven't spent anything like that, so I've decided to order the insulated fence panels, which should keep the garden warmer in winter and keep the eco-nuts happy. I'm as happy as can be expected for a pensioner. Insulated fence panels! I don't pretend to be a gardener, but what benefit do insulated fence panels provide?

When there's a cold wind hitting one side of said panels, it's warm on the other face, there are of course times when, depending on wind direction, your garden will be colder than your neighbours despite you having installed and paid for the panels.

I
We got about 1300 pounds Barry, which has gone on the allotment rents. I also have plans to move the wood stove outside so that it fire the central heating system without sparking Mrs B's asthma. I have also bought a few more 30 litre tubs in which I will plant whatever I can. It is certainly easier and more productive than digging potato trenches. So far we are a bit ahead of the game financially and, more importantly, having a bit of fun into the bargain. insulated fence panels ? I am Mr Stone Age in these matters. What do they do and do you have the link to Wickes?
Wickes don't have them. I'll get into trouble for advertising Borkie www.cladcodecking.co.uk/3-6m-fencing-panelOh, and who's Barry?

All we've got to worry about now is the climate crisis and the rise of fascism. Rubber dinghies are having supply problems too. Don't worry - Labour might not get in. So that's why you have your silly grin on your avatar hmm.

You keep warm and rattle their cage all at the same time. The war's over, we no longer have bomb fires.

Still a three month wait to send an email to a GP, still no evidence that the Police intend to maintain law and order, still a mountain of EU rules we have to slavishly follow, still hundreds of dingy divers wading ashore, still impossible to drive a motor car into major cities, and we still have a civil service supposedly working at home. But other than that the sunlit uplands are just around the corner. The best news of all is that there'll be another half-million or so 'New Brits' around to enjoy them with you. And the same next year. And the year after too. And so on.
