The prime excuse as put forward by excusers of this failed government on the appaling state of our NHS is "PFI contracts".
If this were true, and there s not an ounce of truth in such bizzare claims, then struggling hospitals, A&E departments and ambulance sevices would be restricted to those Health Trusts or hospitals which have an on-going PFI contract.
The mess that our NHS is now in, is across the board, its the same shambles in hospitals which have never had a PFI contract, so how does such an argument stand up. ?
The NHS was fine back in 2009-2010, so how come its got to this situation ?, and before anyone comes up with Covid, let me point out that the deterioration was well set-in before anyone had ever heard of Covid.

One of the main problems with the NHS is what they prioritise - for example take the NHS in Sussex who have declared a 'Critical Incident' for the past week due to high volumes of work and staff shortages. Currently NHS Sussex are recruiting for 3 roles at £45k a pop for 'Widening Participation Leads' to find out if their workforce is "representative" of the local population.   |
