You didn’t watch the clip, did you? No, the written comments put me off. After reading them I felt it unlikely that the videos could be relied upon. So who was the person who wrote the comments? Thought so. You should stop making excuses and watch it . You might learn something

I agree, the NHS is in dire need of some sort of reform. But it's going to be difficult thanks to Labour. Oh yes, listen in. If it wasn't for President Blair and £billions in PFI payments the NHS wouldn't be in this situation. The last PFI payment is due in the financial year 2049/50. PFI got Blair and the Labour government out of a financial hole that was the size of a thimble, and is now the grand canyon. That is the legacy of Labour's PFI. I wonder if Starmer will mention PFI, lol.

New Labour funded their expansion of NHS spending by dodgy PFI deals - that policy is now discredited so what avenues are there for a future Labour Government to find significantly more money to pour into the NHS?.
Gold has been sold off, QE is about as reputable now as PFI, sell off more Government assets perhaps? - it really only leaves taxation and with taxes at their highest levels since WW2 I'm not sure how much extra can be squeezed out of them..

If the name of the writer of the article offered had appeared on the information posted, I would have checked his background to get some idea of his political position. Did you do that ? Or did you just accept what the individual wrote because it suited your political agenda ?

The daily Mail? A very good paper well put together of which I was a regular reader for a while until it became clear to me that it was all too often politically motivated. It was IMO one of a number of British news papers that continually damaged British politics with its political bias. I stopped reading it on a regular basis many decades ago, and like stopping smoking it's a beneficial decision on my part. Some of its readers don't have the capacity to understand the political damage that paper does.

Not forgetting the "dodgy" economy since 2008 which has thrown everything that went before out of kilter. And given politically biased individuals an opportunity to spout their bias.

You should stop making excuses and watch it . You might learn something I think he prefers to sit on his throne whilst accusing others of bias. The fact that he's too bias to watch something is all part of the act. It's all there to make up for something.

Why are people dying due to there been no ambulances
There are several reasons for this, but by far the biggest reason is because too many ambulances are tied up at hospitals ( queueing up ) waiting to unload seriously ill patients and cassualties into A&E.
Next question
Why are seriously ill patients and cassualties waiting many hours, and sometimes dying in the process to get to see someone for assesment and treatment. ?
Answer: Capacity
No where for patients to discharge to, not enough social care capacity, bed blocking, not enough capacity in A&E departments, not enough assesment and treatment areas, not enough doctors, not enough nurses. Hospitals with bed capacity permantly close to or even over the limit in order to save money.
You mention the Labour Party Red Rackham, can I just remind you that in 2009-2010 these problems did not exist, and most hospitals do not have PFI contracts, I suggest your full od excuses. ______________________________________________________________________________

I would be most interested to know how thousands of extra doctors and nurses were funded by PFI contracts ?
Most hospitals in the UK have no PFI contracts, and the total number of hospital PFI contracts from 1992 onwards, when begun by John Majors Conservative government is about 100, there are almost 900 hospitals in England alone.

I would have thought it quite obvious - if you shift spending on infrastructure off book, then you have more money in the budget for day to day spending.
