That’s a good idea but beyond me to apply it in a practical sense. At what point does an unsubstantiated accusation become a false and malicious one ? Id hate to be the one who decides .
Presumably when it's provably false.
Clearly, someone being found not guilty doesn't mean that the initial allegation was false only that there was insufficient evidence to prove it beyond reasonable doubt.
But there have been cases, as above, when there was sufficient evidence to show that the alleged victim was lying beyond reasonable doubt.
Like the student chap a few years ago who was accused of rape when messages on his phone clearly showed that the "Victim" had initiated sex and only cried "Rape" when they fell out later.
I agree with you. I had better not make agreeing with you too much of a habit, or I might start questioning my sanity. But I guess everyone talks sense at least occasionally. Except Jonksy, obviously, lol

You should always agree with me because I'm usually right

You should always agree with me because I'm usually right The fact that I disagree with you so often disproves that. After all, it is clearly I who is usually right around here. lol It is my vocation to try and prevent people from being wrong on the internet, lol I clearly have limited success with that endeavour however, since you and most others around here insist upon being wrong repeatedly.

In today's society, if anyone wants sex with anyone else, it's probably best to sign a detailed agreement first, to make it more romantic.

She is not the only one at fault either, the young man accused spent ten weeks on remand and on release and a perfectly innocent individual returned to his hometown to find some moron/s had painted rapist on his property and smashed the windows, still fearing for his safety he’s moved from his hometown of Barrow.
Vigilantism at its worse.

On the subject of Consent in Rape Trials a high profile case is nearing an end , the Jury have been deliberating their verdict for 12 days, the Judge has now pronounced a Majority Verdict is acceptable to the Court.
The judge in the trial of Manchester City footballer Benjamin Mendy has told jurors he will accept majority verdicts.
The Manchester City player, 28, denies seven counts of rape against four women; one count of attempted rape alleged by a fifth woman; and one count of sexual assault against a sixth.
The offences are alleged to have taken place at his Prestbury mansion between October 2018 and August last year.
His co-defendant and alleged 'fixer', Louis Saha Matturie, 41, from Eccles, Salford, denies six counts of rape; and three counts of sexual assault, in allegations relating to seven women.

The Mendy trial is over he was acquitted on most of the charges and was his co-defendant . their word against the victims word that is why it is not easy to secure a conviction in Rape cases, but not over yet he will be back in Court later this year on two charges that have not been finalized yet
