No. Labour squandered billions on Nimrod MRA4 which ultimately had to be scrapped.
The warning signs were there but they pressed on with a failing project and cost the taxpayer billions more.
They signed up for the Ajax armoured vehicle, another flawed project.
They squandered billions on pointless millennium projects creating useless expensive follies.
They sold our gold at knock down prices.
They left us vulnerable to recession and built a debt based economy.
They are crap with money.

Vinny lets look at the wasted billions in one year on the pandemic.EXPOSED: The Tories’ Billion-Pound File of Failure
The Tories have wasted hundreds of millions of pounds across government during the pandemic. From failed tracing apps to useless PPE to insufficient provision for disadvantaged children, analysis by Labour shows the government has made the wrong decisions throughout the crisis.
Take a closer look…vinny after 1 year on the pandemic this was back in 2020 its probably more now.

But I’m grasping a bit of comfort from the knowledge that the UK has been under rogue and/or incompetent administrations for most of the last six years, and that the current team might just get things together in time for the next election. Failing that, I’m hoping Starmer boosts the apparent competence his own team with some strong and competent personalities who’ll be able to get the UK back on track over a couple of governments…

On top of what I said earlier there was also this: Vince Cable 13/11/2003 hansard.parliament.uk/commons/2003-11-13/debates/8a9480f0-0d87-419d-9e55-9108f6a8788d/InterestRatesColumn 398 and he was right. Labour mismanaged the economy during the Blair / Brown years and not only that, deregulated the banks too. It didn't go well at all. It's not bias as I don't like any of them. Study enough facts and you wouldn't either. Politicians are there to be hired and fired, not liked. Labour were shit last time they were in, so we fired them. The Tories are shit too, one day we'll fire them as well, but the fact will surprise some people who expect better from Labour, Labour are shit. On everything from needless handgun bans to curtailments of right of protest, to unequal devolution (why did England not get a devolved Parliament as well ?) Labour were abysmal. Their answer to Northern Ireland was capitulation to the IRA. Their answer to the EU was to say yes to everything it wanted for so called "influence" which in reality meant getting rid of vetoes and implementing things the public didn't want. But on the economy they excelled themselves squandering lavish amounts of cash on stupid Millennium projects. The Millennium Dome which cost £700 million was sold to a Labour donor for £125m www.theguardian.com/uk/2000/nov/21/dome.davidhencke192 the old directory enquiries service was privatised and marketised for reasons unknown to sanity, providing absolutely no additional benefit to anyone and replaced with 118 numbers. The rather useless Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act of 2000 resulted in abuse of investigatory powers by councils. I can think of other stupid things they did including their policy on guns. Even though it's a 6mm battery powered "airsoft" designed not to be able to penetrate the human eyeball, you have to be a registered skirmisher or you cannot legally buy it. But if you want to own this: Because it is an air gun it is not prohibited for sale by their legislation. They're a bunch of useless dreamers with their heads in fantasy land.
Taxpayers money gets wasted implementing shit laws.
And the replica, which can't shoot anything at all, is completely illegal.
So the one that can actually shoot you is readily available for sale to pretty much anyone over 18, the toy one requires a license and the totally harmless version is illegal.
Madness!

That would mean more taxes spent on parliamentary debates, they've had bigger issues to deal with like getting us out of the EU.
Something Labour stupidly opposed and wrecked their chances of getting back in.
But, yes, Labour are authoritarian illiberal law making lunatics, with absolutely no sense at all.
They kow tow to party focus groups whilst ignoring their heartlands.

Uncomfortable facts for those silly enough to still support the Conservatives
In the past 50 years, the budge of the UK has been in surplus more years under Labour than under the Tories.
Under the last Labour government, the economy, growth, and National Debt was in good shape until the banking crisis hit in 2007.
Between 1997 and 2007 the UK endured the longest period of sustained growth in modern times, with low borrowing.
Every forecast regarding the economy and debt made by George Osborne and David Cameron from 2010 onwards failed to materialise, on National Debt, on the deficit, on borrowing, on growth and on the UK credit rating.
We have not seen any strong growth in this country since the Tories came to power 13 years ago.
The NHS is now in a deplorable state, literaly falling apart, with every measure now worse than in 2010 including waiting times, GP appointment times, waiting lists and according to both the chairman and deputy chairman of The Royal College of Emergency Medicine, between 300 and 500 people are dying because of A&E and ambulance waiting times.
and no Covid is merely an excuse, this was beginning to happen long before anyone ever heard of Covid-19
The Tories have had 13 years and they have failed, its time for them to go, move over

Seems you need better facts The long period of growth began in 1992 following the recovery after Black Wednesday. www.ons.gov.uk/economy/economicoutputandproductivity/productivitymeasures/articles/trendsintheukeconomy/2015-02-27Labour inherited a budget that was in surplus and trashed it. By 2007 government borrowing was a serious problem, and then the global crash happened which our ex government was unprepared for.

This is what vinny stated
"Labour inherited a budget that was in surplus and trashed it. By 2007 government borrowing was a serious problem, and then the global crash happened which our ex government was unprepared for" ---------------------------
Wrong
Labour came to power in May 1997, and the budget was in deficit, the budget came into surplus in 1998, and remained in surplus until 2001.
After 2001 the deficit remaind manageable, and way below the previous Conservative governments peaks in 1994 and 1995.
It was not until the Banking Crisis hit, and the recession which followed the Banking Crisis that the budget deficit shot up in order to support peoples jobs, the economy, industry and to save the banks.
The problem with the Conservative Party is that they are the party of lies
They lie about Labour and tax and spend, they lied about Brexit, they lie about breaking their own rules, they lie about 40 new hospitals which never existed, they lie about everything, and sadly some of their supporters peddle these lies too.
