That's a croc of shite. Sir William Shawcross in his report states quite clearly that the major threat in this country is from Islamist extremists. Hey who knew? This is why the government are worried about publishing the report unredacted, they know how aggresive and prone to demonstrate Muslims can be. TTL, can you provide me some examples of these children who were arrested for terrorism offences? |

I say again, Sir William Shawcross the author of the independent report, criticised the government's 'Prevent' scheme because it's focus over the past few years has changed from combating the radicalisation of Muslims, to children who have been reported to the Prevent scheme by teachers, for being right wing extremists. As I said up the page, and highlighted by Sir William Shawcross, the focus of 'Prevent' either by accident or design has changed. Yet the major threat this country faces has not. Militant Islam is by far the most serious threat in this country. Indeed the current alert state is 'Substantial' which means the security services are of the opinion an attack is 'likely'. Tell me Steve, if perish the thought a terrorist attack happens, who do you think are more likely to be the perpetrators: Militant Islam, or militant right wing school children? Take your time. |

Well it's certainly true that the sort of person who faced with multiple threats only deals with one and wilfully ignores the others is quite possibly someone who has been banging his head against hard surfaces for a lifetime. |
