Does anyone Remember Moody Yachts? It was founded in 1827 by John Moody and made thousands of decent boats up to 66 feet until 2007. Now the Germans bought it off them. Similar with Sunseeker, which was sold to the Chinese in 2013.
Is there anything this country can build these days and own at the same time? Why so difficult? Why sell out?

Bit of a digression I suppose, I follow a couple on YouTube, they've been sailing the world in a 48ft catamaran for the past six years and decided they wanted a larger boat. They spent months looking around Europe, Australia and the US for a suitable boat builder. They ended up going to a boat builder in Vietnam of all places and are currently overseeing the final touches to their new 60ft trimaran. JFI - www.youtube.com/c/SailingLaVagabonde/videos
