Lady Susan Hussey has given a personal apology to Ngozi Fulani, after repeatedly asking her where she was "really from" at a Palace reception. Lady Susan, a former lady in waiting, met black charity boss Ms Fulani at Buckingham Palace on Friday. She offered her "sincere apologies for the comments... and the distress they caused", said Buckingham Palace. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-64005705In case you're confused, Ngozi Fulani is the one who is so proud to be British she chooses to wear what many people consider to be traditional African dress. Or have I got confused and where she comes from it's traditional British dress?

The charity at the centre of the Buckingham Palace race row has been issued advice about “conflict of interest” in how it is being run The Charity Commission has written to Sistah Space, a domestic violence charity, amid concerns over its governance. The charity watchdog announced earlier this week it was examining a series of allegations made on Twitter about the running of Sistah Space. After assessing the claims, the watchdog said on Friday it was now writing to Sistah Space’s trustees offering “advice and guidance”. The advice includes “managing any conflict of interest”. Sistah Space has come under public scrutiny after Ngozi Fulani, its founder, was repeatedly asked where she was “really” from at a Buckingham Palace event hosted by the Queen Consort. Her “interrogator” Lady Susan Hussey, 83, the late Queen Elizabeth’s lady-in-waiting and a godmother to Prince William, was forced to step aside from all royal duties after years of public service. Ms Fulani had posted on social media a transcript of the conversation with Lady Hussey, which led to her being relieved of all palace duties. ..........The charity has admitted it has had “some issues” with its accounts caused by staffing problems during the pandemic. The charity has also struggled to adapt to a rapid expansion of its services, having seen its income rise from less than £15,000 in 2019 to more than £360,000 in 2021. The accounts for two years until 2020 were signed off by an independent examiner who also worked for the charity as a volunteer. Last year’s accounts were filed more than two months late. www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/ngozi-fulani-palace-race-row-accuser-s-charity-given-conflict-of-interest-advice-by-watchdog/ar-AA15mILT?rc=1&ocid=winp1taskbar&cvid=a33ae47a1a1b46f2bb8ace2ea989fe42Strange....A charity which accuses an innocent old lady of racism but has trouble sorting out its accounts. Perhaps it has its priorities wrong. www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/ngozi-fulani-palace-race-row-accuser-s-charity-given-conflict-of-interest-advice-by-watchdog/ar-AA15mILT?rc=1&ocid=winp1taskbar&cvid=a33ae47a1a1b46f2bb8ace2ea989fe42

Or have I got confused and where she comes from it's traditional British dress? What a load of politically correct minority appeasing bollox. It makes me wonder who put pressure on Lady Hussey, Charles or William. They're both woke and terrified of upsetting anyone with dark skin. It's Ngozi Fulani born Marlene Headley who should be apologising, she's a liar a fantasist and a racist, but she is also black which means she can say what the hell she likes. She pretends to be African and she runs a charity for battered women, as long as they're black. Apparently, that's not racist.

A definite possibility of conflict of interest there I think.

Yes probably there is a conflict of interest but the Charity commission didn't think so.

Yes probably there is a conflict of interest but the Charity commission didn't think so. Maybe they didn't know the "auditor" had connections with the charity. You need to stop making unfounded excuses whilst the investigation is going on.

Hussey should not have apologised, she should have just left it at that.
It was a innocent remark nothing more nothing less, the only apologisin if any should have came from Fulani who clearly made much ado about nothing.

Yes probably there is a conflict of interest but the Charity commission didn't think so. You claim the Charity Commission have given Sistah Space a clean bill of health, have you a link to that effect? As recently as two days ago the Charity Commission were still actively investigating a series of allegations related to Sistah Space.
