A minute's silence for Remembrance Sunday was cut short by the referee at a Celtic match as the club's fans chanted in protest at Britain's "hypocrisy".
Celtic fans held up banners ahead of the tribute at Kilmarnock reading: "From Balfour to Starmer, the crimes of the empire live on, Britain is committing genocide in Gaza."
When referee Nick Walsh blew his whistle to start the silence, Celtic fans sang about the death of Aidan McAnespie, who was shot by a British soldier in County Tyrone in 1988.

Why would anyone expect anything else ? They are basically an Irish club playing in Scotland and a big part and focal point of the Catholic community . They are being what they are , the original mass immigrants ,the blueprint of things to come where migrant groups do as they please along with bringing religious intolerance and bigotry to the UK . Celtic fans singing pro Irish anti British songs is nothing new ,its in their DNA . Muslims marching up the high street on Remembrance Sunday in support of Gaza is however quite a new sight , both are the result of our lax immigration and religious freedoms ... Up the Gers !

He must be the only person in Europe that is unaware of Celtics background and history. Remember , the Labour Party in scotland is heavily entwined with Celtic Glasgow , with many past and current labour politicians being Celtic fans , including Tony Blairs goebbels Alistair Campbell , who says "he has a soft spot " for our club. Willie Haughey , former non executive director of Celtic football club and once one of the biggest Labour Party donors in scotland , best friend of former labour Scottish first minister jock McConnell , along with people like former labour sports minister frank macaveety , all Celtic fans and season ticket holders , are all part of the labour parties promotion of sectarianism in scotland past and present , encouraging Celtics support of Palestinians , and the ultra left green brigade. Lefty does mean well , but yet another own goal due to his absolute ignorance of Scottish politics and sports. The Labour Party are one of the biggest irish republican groups and supporters of sectarianism in Scotland. They used to regularly get elected playing the irish catholic card before many folk wisened up to them. The old adage used to be protestant loyal Scottish voted tories , back in the day , and irish catholics descendants in the central belt voted for the Labour Party. Former Labour Party lord provost of Glasgow ( sort of like an English mayor) Alex Mosson , elected in the late nineties , was a well known IRA sympathiser who invited gerry Adams to Govan town hall. These Labour Party barstewards are up to their necks in sectarianism , and I suspect there are very few Scottish labour politicians past and present who couldnt give you a full repertoire of wolfetones songs. poor auld lefty .

Tony Blair and the IRA: The ‘On The Runs’ Scandal
Tony Blair’s historical reputation as prime minister (1997-2007) is being shaped decisively by the recent Chilcot report on Iraq. However, the leader of new labour still clings to his legacy as a peace maker in Northern Ireland.
Austen Morgan’s new book – written after the collapse of the John Downey Old Bailey trial in February 2014 – asks: how did Tony Blair implement the Belfast agreement after 1998? The answer (avoided by Chilcot as regards the Iraq war) is: the prime minister, and his chief of staff, Jonathan Powell, acted unlawfully in agreeing privately with Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness that IRA members should benefit from effectively a secret amnesty.
Using official papers disclosed to the court, Tony Blair and the IRA tells the story of how, on the basis of Mo Mowlam’s dealings with republican and loyalist terrorists, the provision for early release of paramilitary prisoners after two years was extended secretly to the ‘on the runs’: 228 unconvicted IRA members applied; at least 187 men and women benefited from the so-called administrative scheme, between 2000 and 2014, before it was closed down amid considerable political embarrassment.
Dealing with the Downey mistake – when an Irish republican wanted for the 1982 Hyde Park bombing was sent a comfort letter – the book exonerates two high-ranking Northern Ireland police officers, Peter Sheridan and Norman Baxter, who have hitherto been blamed, and directs responsibility to a senior Whitehall official, Mark Sweeney.
Some may try to justify what some ministers and officials did over a considerable period of time. They will be thwarted, it is believed, by the evidence revealed for the first time in this book.

I can’t see Glaswegian, Catholic , Celtic fans ever being deferential to England . As for Remembrance Sunday …the sight of hoards of lefties getting teary eyed over men that they would despise as racist, misogynist, homophobic, Islamophobic extreme right wingers makes me sick .
