Last year the Met Police carried just over 30,000 weapons stop and searches between March 2023 and February 2024 , they seized 6,346 weapons almost a thousand less than the previous year, The Met claim Officers moral is at an all time low due the amount of publicity caused by the unacceptable behaviour of small percentage of their ranks, plus they know stop and search is very liable to lead to complaints accused of racism rude or aggressive behaviour, which can take a long time to come to a conclusion. Dammed if they do their Job, Dammed if they don't, added to that the amount of time Uniformed Officers spend dealing with Protest Marches in London, hundreds of hours of their time wasted, days off cancelled , all leave cancelled at great cost to the London Taxpayers in overtime payments Plus a 10% decrease in real funding and a 30% increase in population to deal with over the same period.

Indeed England and Wales only have just over 140,000 Police Officers, no where near enough at least an additional 100,000 more need to be recruited ASAP but who the hell wants to join in this day and age. The pay and working conditions are not good to say the least, those that do join know they will be physically attacked some will be pensioned off for severe injuries, some may well be murdered , threatened , insulted, spat at, called racists, lied to lied about, etc etc

That's the cost of importing way too many non-contributors.
And of course those other western European nations don't blame the police for their societal ills.

London is the crime capitol of the UK..
Over the last year, the City of London saw a massive 7,496 criminal offences, meaning a shocking 869.8 crimes per 1000 residents, or almost 9 crimes per 10 people living in the region.
Are you sure what region you're referring to?
The overall crime rate in the City of London in 2023 was 27 crimes per 1,000 people. This compares favourably to London's overall crime rate, coming in 73% lower than the London rate of 103 per 1,000 daytime population. For England, Wales, and Northern Ireland as a whole, City of London is the safest city, and the 3,236th safest location out of all towns, cities, and villages.
The most common crime in City of London is other theft, with 2,675 offences during 2023, giving a crime rate of 7. This is 23% higher than 2022's figure of 2,173 offences and a difference of 1.40 from 2022's crime rate of 6. City of London's least common crimes are possession of weapons, with 74 offences recorded in 2023, an increase of 30% from 2022's figure of 57 crimes.
The City of London has a low number of residents, despite its gigatic daytime population. It is a financial centre and a separate entity to London. The City has its own police force, mayor, and its own local authority (the City of London Corporation)...

Supplying a link would help us judge.
Here's some futher stats which explain why I and my family are not living in the war zone so many keyboard battlers on here work themselves into such a frenzy about...:
Homicide rate highest in North East England
Although London, with 124 homicides, was the UK region with the highest number of homicides in 2022/23, it was behind North East England when it came to the homicide rate. At 15.9 homicides per one million people, the North East was ahead of London at 12.9, and the rest of England and Wales, at 10.1. When compared with the rest of the UK, the homicide rate in England and Wales was above that of Scotland, which was 9, but below Northern Ireland at 12.6. Although Scotland's homicide rate is currently lower than that of England and Wales, before 2015/16 it was consistently higher, particularly in 2004/05 when it was 27, compared with 16.4 in England and Wales.

It seems that it is a waste of time supplying links as the usuals just ignore them or attack the source. FFS even videos taken in the HOC are condemed by the usual lefy if they go against their agenda.

Ilford murder victim Harshita Brella, 24, who was found dead in the boot of a car in East London a day after she was reported missing - as police say she was attacked by someone known to her..... A woman who was discovered murdered in the boot of a car in east London has been named by police, as they claim she was attacked by 'someone known to her'. Harshita Brella was reported missing on November 13 by the authorities after Northamptonshire Police conducted a welfare check at her home in Skegness Walk, Corby and got no answer. Tragically a day later the 24-year-old was discovered in the boot of a vehicle on Brisbane Road, Ilford. A forensic postmortem examination, which took place at Leicester Royal Infirmary on Friday, confirmed that Harshita had been murdered. No arrests have yet been made, but the police have said that they believe Harshita was attacked by someone known to her. Police officers have claimed that the incident is an isolated one and there is no wider threat to the public, but a crime scene remains in place with the road cordoned off. Northamptonshire Police has also referred themselves to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) due to previous contact they had with her.... www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14091213/Pictured-Ilford-murder-victim-Harshita-Brella-24-boot-car-East-London-days-Northamptonshire-Police-launched-missing-persons-investigation-concerns-welfare.html

Skegness Walk in Corby sounds quite nice, doesn't it. I've been there, it's awful. Drugs, booze, people sleeping on dirty mattresses on bare floorboards, people ripping up floorboards to burn to keep warm
It will be interesting to see whether this poor woman was killed in Corby or London as the case progresses.

Skegness is essentially closed to tourists, it's an immigrant town. All the hotels are full of foreign criminals and I suspect it's one of many.
I await the knock on the door.

Skegness Walk, Corby (location of the arrempted distraction), is in Northamptonshire. Skegness, the seaside town, is in Lincolnshire and has Reform's Richard Tice as MP.
What draws Reform's leader and deputy to down-market coastal resorts...?

I know London and crime go hand in hand and a lot of this is down to how the place is structured. Filthy rich areas with deprived council estates right next door. However, the level of crime and the extreme nature of these imported third world criminals dumped there has made it a whole lot worse. The more who arrive, by whatever means, the worse it gets.
